Which version of Kid Naruto? You haven't specified.
Beginning of story Naruto gets stomped since Boruto has literally everything Naruto has minus Jinchuuruki powers.
On top of that, Boruto has the Gentle Palm, three elements, and an invisible, thrown Rasengan.
Naruto might win in a battle of attrition, but in terms of raw firepower and skill Boruto crushes.

Lies. It would only be fair if he had the Rasengan too. No Kyubi Chakra.
Naruto can just do him like he did Mizuki and Gaara. Boruto has no rotation, so it wouldn't matter if he had elemental ninjutsu if he can't banish Naruto's 2k barrage. Not only that, but Boruto can't use Gentle Fist properly because he can't activate the Jogan at will to see Chakra points. Link me to this thread.

I did say beginning of story. 2k Barrage Kid Naruto is obviously much further along (towards the end of the original anime series) but again, the OP did not specify.
Of course, if Boruto knocks on Naruto's tenketsu, there's not much chance of that happening either.

I know, I meant that it wouldn't be fair if he didn't have the Rasengan. But, judging by Bolt's performance against the Mist Ninja, his lightning and wind style helps him blitz Naruto before he gets the chance to use handseals, bloodlusted. But Naruto did do, like, at least 50 clones that bodied a chunin. So... They're not that far apart, tbh

Base Naruto could give End of Part 1 Sasuke a challenge in Base. Sasuke only really started to stomp when he got 3rd tomoe. Boruto doesn't have sharingan. Naruto packs him out, Boruto has trouble with High level genin or chunin level nin.

Not true. Two Special Jonin (Special Jonin have Chunin stats except in 1 area), Made the entire Sound found have to fight for their lives in their v2 curse mark forms. Jonin to Chunin is quite a leap in power. Everyone on Naruto's Team aside from Sakura was Low Chunin Level, or High Genin Level.Peter "Quicksilver" Maximoff said:

Naruto and Sasuke (two genin) getting one over on Zabuza (a Jonin) even though he just got Kakashi (a Jonin)
Baki destroys Gekko (an Anbu/Jonin) with no diff but got held off by Genma (a special Jonin aka Chunin with one special stat)
Now you would think overall a Jonin should be better than a Chunin and a Chunin better than Genin. Though it's not the case all the time and don't get me started on the fodders.
Don't get me wrong rank has some weight and this is proven several times but the gap people think is between each rank isn't that high. Especially when you remember that you're rank isn't determined by 100% overall power.
Example: Shikamaru and Lee are both Chunin but Lee has way more Speed, Strength, Stamina and Taijutsu skill but only has much higher tactical intelligence.
Do you really think Part Two Shikamaru is faster, stronger or a better taijustu specialist than Part One Rock Lee just because he's a higher rank?.
Again, rank means something but not as much as people believe.
