Shouldn't Tournament Saga Goku be 8-A? Roshi didn't get notably stronger before he fought Tien in the next tournament, and Goku nearly fought him to a draw.

It's better than the reasoningless High 8-C he's currently at. This would boost most characters to 8-A by scaling.

A possible reason might be that Roshi wasn't using his buff form against Goku in the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai so maybe he wasn't going all out, unlike when he fought Tien.

But still, this reason doesn't justify Goku's High 8-C rating and I too can't recall any reasons for that rating atm lol

@AKM roshi is way stronger than 8-A in buff form due to blowing up ox king's mountain. He only went buff when he destroyed the moon during his fight with goku.

I don't see any problems with this bump in AP.

Roshi was casual since he was testing him, db characters can supress themself. Also Goku being 8-A since Tournament Saga is inconsistent because he was nearly killed by Tao and got significally stronger after training with Korin [Who said he did better than Roshi, but did not said was stronger] and after defeating other foes. The High 8-C rating its because General Blue surviving his airplane crashing into a mountain, Android 8 sending people to the horizon and destroying Muscle Tower.

Isn't that oblivious, he casually oneshotted General Blue with his tongue.

That was a pressure point strike, not raw power.

That's not important, he would have still oneshotted him with other attacks, Goku [Who was fighting with Blue] later defeated him after Korin training, which showed that he indeed became stronger from each arc.

It was mentioned that Goku had equaled the Roshi kamehameha during the final fight. But it was not using its buf form.
