While less skilled, Steve has a far larger arsenal and versatility.

Voting for Steve:
better durability (can withstand nether heat and piston do no damage) also Kenshin using samurai's iron sword compare to enchanted iron sword with Sharpness IV (can make sword "sharper") and Sweeping Edge III (can make sword "piercer") no doubt Steve could easily cut Kenshin.
more arsenal (Steve in mid-game can craft golden apple (8 gold ingot + 1 apple) and can throw 1 meter of gold cube to his opponent)
better range (his Arrow's speed maybe slow but actually heavy, that's right arrows are heavy is a reason being slow)
also heywatch this video Steve's in 5th tiering among swordsma
and watch this video Ender Dragon can tank 100K TNT
