Heya, I'm back after a long time. This time, the thread is to upgrade Kamen Rider Hibiki's stats and establish a scaling chain for the series' characters.

Credit to @Omazio2019 for providing me with scans, the scaling wouldn't happened without him.

AP and Durability Upgrade

I had been working on some calcs for Hibiki before this thread was created.
These calcs will replace the current 8-C/High 8-C rating; the former was based on natural lightning power, which is outdated long ago, and the latter is based on tornado ratings, which are also kind of outdated?

Splitting Keys

I am working on a blog post that will explain the scaling chain of Hibiki characters and why their character keys should be updated to reflect their power growth throughout the series. You can read the blog for full details; I will simply summarize what is in it.

Character keys will be divided into two: Pre-Orochi Phenomenon Arcs (Episode 01 to 39) and Orochi Phenomenon Arc (Episode 40 to 48).

The reason for this is the noticeable change in characters' power levels that occurred prior to and during the Orochi event. The first key will combine the peak of each character's power from all previous arcs, whereas the second key will include everything that happened from the Orochi event until the final episode.

Scaling Chain

Firstly, it is important to highlight a specific multiplier that affects the entire scaling chain in order for everyone to understand it.
Kaen drums traditionally possess the ability to amplify the purifying sound produced by the Ongeki stick. However, this new model has further enhanced amplification capabilities, allowing it to amplify the purifying sound by dozens of times more than previous versions.

As a result, while a regular Kaen drum would typically need about 30 consecutive strikes to exorcise a Makamou (demonic creature), this new model can eliminate a Makamou with just a few hits.
A dozen is 12, so dozens of times would be at least 24.

Additionally, Hibiki has been shown to use this technique in both his base and Kurenai forms, and the Zukan has also stated that Armed Hibiki can use the similar ability. Therefore, all forms of Hibiki have a 24x amp attack.

Pre-Orochi Phenomenon Arcs (Episode 01 to 39)

Now we'll get into the actual scaling chain itself.

As previously stated, Yoroi Tsuchigumo's feat of causing an earthquake by digging would serve as the baseline for all Hibiki characters to scale on. In Episode 29, Ibuki, Todoroki, and Eiki can fight the Yoroi Tsuchigumo's parents, who are equally powerful (480.01716061 Tons). Hibiki, however, has a feat that will elevate him above his peers.

In Episodes 30 and 31, a Makamou named Kasha easily stomps Ibuki on two occasions. Hibiki was able to fight on par with it, forcing it to retreat for the first time. This would make Hibiki upscale the >480.01716061 Tons value.

Using Ongekiko Bakuretsu Kaentsuzumi, Hibiki's attack would be 11.5204118546 Kilotons.

Hibiki would then receive an upgrade form known as the Kurenai Form. Hibiki can defeat multiple Makamou with this form's "strongest sound attack." Therefore, this form would upscale the Ongekiko Bakuretsu Kaentsuzumi's 24x amp value (>11.5204118546 Kilotons).

The Ongekiko Bakuretsu Kaentsuzumi-version of Kurenai form is known as Ongekida Bakuretsushinku no Kata (Explosive Deep Crimson Style), and it should use the same multiplier as before, totaling 276.48988451 Kilotons.

After halfway through the series, Hibiki gains access to his final form upgrade, Armed Form. This form is described as having the "strongest sound attack" and the "strongest abilities" of any Oni in Japan. This would upscale the form's value by 24 times that of Kurenai's Ongekida Bakuretsushinku no Kata (>276.48988451 Kilotons).

Using Ongekiko Bakuretsu Kaentsuzumi, Armed Hibiki's attack would be 6.63575722824 Megatons.

Here's an overview of the scaling chain in this key:
  • Base Oni's Stats:
  • Base Hibiki = >480.01716061 Tons of TNT (Multi-City Block level)
  • Hibiki Kurenai (Upscales 24x base) = >11.5204118546 Kilotons of TNT (Town level)
  • Armed Hibiki (Upscales 24x Kurenai) = >276.48988451 Kilotons of TNT (Large Town level)
    • Ongekiko Bakuretsu Kaentsuzumi (24x amp) = 6.63575722824 Megatons of TNT (City level)

Orochi Phenomenon Arc (Episode 40 to 48)

Before proceeding with the scaling of the second key, I will explain in detail why the power level of this key changed.

First and foremost, it is worth noting that Hibiki characters are said to grow stronger throughout the series, which is lamp-shaped in-series. Two prominent examples demonstrate this.

Tengu, a Makamou, had previously stomped Ibuki and could match Hibiki Kurenai's strength in episode 28. In Episodes 43, 46, and 47, Ibuki and Todoroki were shown fighting and defeating some of them on their own.

Kodama, a Makamou who easily defeated Ibuki and Todoroki and even blocked an attack from Armed Hibiki in Episodes 40 and 41. By Episodes 44 and 47, Zanki, Todoroki, and Ibuki had fought and defeated it and the other Makamou.

Given all of this, it is reasonable to conclude that Hibiki's characters' power growth is logical. Base Hibiki characters, in particular, will scale to the value of Armed Hibiki due to their battle against Kodama (>276.48988451 Kilotons).

From that point forward, we will use the same multipliers for Hibiki's amp and forms as we did previously.
  • Base Hibiki= >276.48988451 Kilotons of TNT (Large Town level)
  • Hibiki Kurenai (Upscales 24x base) = >6.63575722824 Megatons of TNT (City level)
  • Armed Hibiki (Upscales 24x Kurenai) = >159.258173478 Megatons of TNT (Mountain level)
    • Ongekiko Bakuretsu Kaentsuzumi (24x amp) = 3.8221961635 Gigatons of TNT (Large Mountain level)

Conclusion

To summarize the goal of this thread:
  1. Upgrading Kamen Rider Hibiki's AP and Durability based on the accepted calc.
  2. Revamp Hibiki character keys in two: Pre-Orochi Phenomenon Arcs (Episode 01 to 39) and Orochi Phenomenon Arc (Episode 40 to 48).
  3. Getting the scaling chain blog for Hibiki to be accepted.
Finally, even if the scaling chain is accepted, it will not be applied to Hibiki's profile immediately because I am overhauling the entire profile and will save it for a later thread. That's all.
