Brother most of the island is just underwater but its quite literally the same exact island the king created, you're not gonna have a full sphere above water that's not how that works the center of gravity would remain below the water so of course we're only seeing the top like third of the island.

the only difference is that the surfaced part has foliage where it met the air on the surface and even then it looks exactly like that while retaining a circular shape still soo 🤷‍♂️

genuinely don't how there is any contention here, like its just outright spelled out to us. I'll leave it be though

If you read back a few chapters you will see Shokoku completely covered in Trees in which the Japanese cannot see through or get near, the images we see are an aerial view of the top portion of the island above the water
We only see the initial tree covered space underwater

We're also told the island is covered by an enormous forcefield the size of multiple cities that can only be produced by having a large quantity of datenseki which we see the island has the huge datenseki core when the king creates it

Why are you assuming beyond what was already established, The Mikaboshi King salvaged everything with the Datenseki and created the massive pine which wreathes the Island
The Island is reemerged not recreated
 
Now that some of are hype should be mellowed out what are all of your thoughts on these new feats?

I for example still don’t think Ariu “speed feat” can be used for scaling but this was an insane ap upgrade

Nope its SOL. He moved fast enough to sit back that the light reflecting off the water didn't capture that.

If its like some Hanged Man jojo shit or Haku shit then it could be SoL if its through reflections but I doubt its sorcery, Hokazono just wanted to showcase his speed
 
i do think this is a case of rule of cool, hokazono likely had a cool idea and just wanted to show it off.

however i do think the feat should be included as a form of supporting feats for the current speed scaling

That being said doesnt the volume here also contradict the calced volume for when sojo jumps off as well?

There's nothing really to use for scaling about it since physicals aren't 1:1 to sorcery and as far as we were shown she doesn't attack anyone at all and its only just moving the stone mass which takes her whole concentration basically

It'll contradict either way you do it so it doesn't really matter, can't use it 1:1 anyways since that's calc stacking to use the values from one calc on another

Ill rechecked the calcs. For some reason it was showing a different panel to get the size for the 26 tons calc. Thats a mistake on my end. Dont use imgur in the UK lol

Yes , if he is changing the logic/reason of the world that explains how he made the bottom of the ocean a habitable place for humans, even without air or light.
