I'm not sure why you keep bringing up the bottom shrinking, I wasn't saying the bottom got reduced by the fall just that you can't see the bottom of the rock due to the smoke

It's very likely his explosion smoke technique rather than a punch due to the boom sfx and him having covered the interior in the black ink smoke

So if calculated we would need to find the durability of the gifted assassins from the distance they are from the blast (should originate from Julian like when he used it against Lacrima) for scaling

I do think it's possible to calc tho, just haven't went to
just that figuring out the explosion diameter would be tricky

Then the height of the hole should be the height of the rock, the gang was sitting on flat ground when it fell straight on top of them. Its not like the ground where they sit suddenly propped up making the holes height<rocks height, since the hole goes from flat ground/base of rock (where the gang is sitting) to the top of the rock. The only situations i can think of where the height isnt the same is
a. The bottom of the rock was destroyed
b. The ground where they were sitting either rose up or sank down

This gives me the idea if you can line up a half ellipse with the two walls you might be able to find where the floor is through the smoke tho. Might be worth trying out?

Imo, the smoke was only there for stealth purposes, his fists were bloodied afterward from punching mf, so the explosion could just be his physicals, that and we never see any of his ink expanding like they did in the Lacrima fight, it just kinda hang around him like normal

Assuming their sitting position has not changed and the bottom of the rock isnt damaged, part of the hole has to extend all the way down to the base and match the rock height or else all they wouldve been crushed, ig the tricky part is how much of the hole actually extend down there vs what we see. What you said about the half ecllipse seems reasonable as i cant imagine there somehow being more rock underneath all that smoke, especially with the shape of Luka's destruction

Between Luka, Jule and Needle guy, gifted ones seems to have great night vision. Not to mention all the assasin fighting and dodging at night with no light in the middle of nowhere. Wonder as more common point shows up, we could do a "Gifted ones physiology" page

Cool thing about that is that we'll also get something for base Lukas & base Julian to scale to if we don't like the 8-C scaling chain

Tho personally I think it'll support it the idea of them being 8-C more since none of the gifted assassins are hurt by the explosion itself and it'll likely land within the 9-A range

Even if Julian can only partially scale to it, i think it worth calcing considering how big the explosion is compared to the fort and the pressure was strong enough to destroy rock/stone buildings as well. If we're lucky, physicals could maybe get to 8-C+ or maybe High 8-C

Honestly I think this first instance of Arkos' beam could be better than the second already calculated one since it destroys a lot of rock in it's path

Tho not entirely sure how find the size for it

Also I'm realizing I was mistaken of there only being one panel for the destruction caused by Luka's spear, I found two other panels showing it

How do yall think about Julian scaling 2x the 8-C value that most of the verse physically scale to for breaking through Arkos's water shield and blood armor with one punch, both of which can no sell attack from the likes of Angvall who's like the pinacle of giftless strength rn. Prerty consistent with how he borerline one shot pretty much everyone physically

Getting another scene with Arkos was cool. I noticed that Ceodric and the Vessel of the Organs of the Night both had the same tattoo, so the confirmation that they're both Rummir royalty is nice. Looks like there'll be a raid on our protagonists before they even get a chance to duel Ceodric.

Hundred-Fold Power keeps getting used in ways I didn't think of. First was Julian only needing one night of sleep every 100 days, and now having the willpower of a hundred souls. He probably only needs 3 meals every 100 days too, and a litre or 2 of water every 100 days. Maybe he can even hold his breath 100x longer than others?

Also, Lacrima is very sweet. I can't wait for her to rip my heart out.

I just more abilities and resist that you can possibly imagine from having " the power of 100 lives" than just physicality. Lala being able to awaken her gift open up a whole can of worms for the power system moving forward
