Does anyone know why Minecraft mobs like Zombies are Building level? I don't see how they're capable of destroying buildings, knowing that Zombies are only seen shattering doors..

Anyone have a source to where the 8-C comes from? (Then again, its possibly due to harming The Player)

A good way to think of the tiering system is that being a certain tier doesn't automatically mean that they can destroy that thing, such as building level characters may not all be capable of destroying entire buildings, but they can fight with building level characters.

As far as I konw the tiering comes from scaling to the Creeper

I thought it was scaling to the Skeleton's durability because of surviving the heat in the Nether. Although, I don't think that's a good benchmark for a number of reasons, and should probably be changed.

Ennard, do you mind if I hijack this thread?

That's a good point, it's probably the creeper feat then as the Nether is likely environmental.

Zombies can't survive point-blank Creeper explosions, and neither can Creepers themseves. It's the Nether "feat", unfortunately.

If you guys want, I can discuss why it shouldn't be used here.

EDIT: Actually, I'll just make a CRT.

Realism Minecraft or things in Minecraft being equivalent to Real Life counterparts are not always valid @Nemo just remember that. Example Fact: Magma block is unlike a liquid Magma in real life. By this logic which same as for Blue Ice, Lava and Gold in Minecraft.

David, that's a post from two weeks ago. We've already talked since then. You know this.

I'm holding off any sort of CRT until after the forum move. Doing otherwise would be an incredibly ill-informed move. In retrospect, this thread was a simple Q&A, and the question has been answered. Requesting this be closed.
