Jujutsu Kaisen Discussion Page #1

The biggest issue with the calc is that it just doesn't work with what scaling would be for the Jogo as a Maximum techinque. It's actually weaker than his physicals would be.
We know that. The point is Sukuna's scaling, since he have said that wouldn't have died from the meteor

Oh dang didnt know he got upgraded
Assuming the calc is correct of course
It is I assure you
Was PE not done for the size of it after it had landed? Thought it gave a higher result
This was using the established size of the meteor by LIFE in the original calculation

The earthquake is good though yeah?
I don't agree with using it but I'm the minority here

If LIFE and the calc members agree then I'm fine with it

However I would downgrade the scale of the quake generated slightly to a 4.5 considering we see no building damage whatsoever or even knocked over objects in the inside of buildings later on

It'd still be Large Town Level+

Doesn't really work with Sukuna scaling either since we know he's stronger than Jogo on his own.

It's not even that he got upgraded, it's just that our current host of calcs (the 8-A ones) do end up putting Jogo into the Low 7-C already. If his Maximum Techinque was only as strong as his normal physicals it would really defeat the narrative purpose of it being a Maximum Techinque.

Can't he just get "Higher" with Maximum Meteor?

My entire point of making the calc was just to have a more conservative value then assuming re-entry speed for a meteor that can be dodged by running out of the way last second

The Mach 3 stuff still stings huh

The Low 7-B earthquake is the only way any high tiers get above 7-C sadly and even that is questionable on how they scale to Jogo

Not responding to this in particularly but wondering if you could calc Nue's size and the Elephant drop from Sukuna? The elephant is mainly for the mass it wouldve generated from falling (unsure how impressive that is) but Nue is also good for mass overall.

To be fair, if the mass to break Yuki's limit is a ******* black hole, what is the mass before breaking the limit? A ******* planet?

The bis issue with the calc is just that its far too conservative to the point that it doesn't give anything usable for the profiles. It would either lead into us scaling characters below their actual capabilities or be ignored since it doesn't correlate well with anything else to be used in any of the scaling.

Jogo's profile will be "Low 7-C, up to Low 7-B via Maximum Meteor". I don't understand why is so hard to get something so simple

from a post:

You can still get really high AP values from the tidal forces Kenjaku would have been experiencing from the black hole before he activated the anti gravity, the highball for the mass Yuki was using during that fight, etc. you can get mountain level pretty easily using the method. At at the size where he wasn’t within the event horizon of the black hole he clearly wasn’t using anti gravity just yet.

I calced it at like something x10^18 a while ago, and that was kind of lowballed cause I couldn’t get the values I wanted. Calculated the tidal forces and converted to energy by considering that force value as a lowball for the breaking stress of his bones.

Assuming that if his bones got fragmented they’d like
Undergo the same amount of strain as they would for a normal human
(I.e I did tidal forces^2/ Young’s modulus of bones, with the Young’s modulus being upscaled in accordance with aforementioned forces)
I would have gotten like, a way higher value. If I had the Young’s modulus and limit of elasticity of skeletal muscle or something
