Jackbaker

Welcome to the family, son!
Summary
Jack Baker is one of the major antagonists in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The patriarch of the Baker family, he was the husband of Marguerite Baker, father to Zoe and Lucas Baker, and adoptive father of Eveline. He was the first of his family to be infected by Mold.

Powers and Stats
Tier: 9-B | 9-A

Name:
Jack Baker

Origin: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Gender: Male

Age: 54

Classification: Human afflicted by Mold

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Regenerationn (High-Mid), Can use nearly any object as a lethal weapo

Attack Potency: Wall level (Casually shattered a wall by walking through it, Can easily throw people through walls, Can easily backhand steel shelves and stone support pillars into pieces, Cut a man's head in half with a shovel, Ripped a car apart with his bare hands, Casually tore a steel fence in half) | Small Building level (Far larger and stronger than his base form, Casually ripped a wooden shed in half)

Speed: Peak Human (Can walk fast enough to keep up with a grown man in a full sprint) | Below Average Human (Can only crawl around slowly) with SuperHuman combat speed (Can attack faster than Ethan Winters can react)

Lifting Strength: SuperHuman (Can tear metal apart with his bare hands, Can wield heavy metal equipment as though it were weightless, Can easily lift a grown man with one hand, Superior to Mia who threw Ethan Winters up a flight of stairs) | Class 5 by virtue of size

Striking Strength: Class KJ (Knocked out Ethan Winters, who can tank point blank explosions and survive being hit by a car multiple times, twice, once with with a single punch and once with a kick to the head) | Class MJ

Durability:
Wall level (Can tank being hit by a car multiple times, Can walk away from being rammed into a steel girder and then set on fire, Survived a near point-blank car explosion, Can be shot multiple times in the head or heart with handgun, magnum, and shotgun rounds with little issue, Can shrug off being cut with a chainsaw multiple times), Regenerationn makes him hard to kill | Small Building level (Superior to his base form, Can shrug off grenades with little issue), Regenerationn makes him hard to kill

Stamina: Superhuman (Can survive taking a massive amount of damage and continue fighting as though nothing happened)

Range: Standard melee range, extended melee range with weapons | Extended melee range by virtue of size

Standard Equipment: Shovel, Axe, Spiked Roller, Chainsaw Shears (Though he can use nearly anything as a weapon) | None

Intelligence: Below Average (Though he is completely insane he is skilled in stealth, can use a variety of everyday items as lethal weapons, and managed to make a pair of shears out of chainsaws despite not having any stated knowledge of how to do so)

Weaknesses: Completely insane, Highly overconfident in his Regenerationn

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Mold: As a side effect of his infection by the Mold, Jack possesses superhuman strength far beyond what a man of his age and build should be capable of. He also possesses a Regenerationn factor, though his is on a whole different level as compared to the rest of the Baker family due to his being the first of the Bakers to be infected by Eveline. He is nigh-invulnerable to conventional means of attacks, and attacks of greater power will only slow him down, such as getting shot in the head, blowing a hole through the right portion of his skull, lit on fire, and engulfed in a fiery car explosion. He still comes back even when his upper body explodes following a fight with Ethan Winters, causing him to regenerate into a monstrous entity covered in Eveline's contamination.

~ Rudolf Wernicke
Summary
The Walrider, also known as The Swarm, is the main antagonist and the final enemy encountered in Outlast and Outlast: Whistleblower. It is the source of the madness that seems to infect most of the asylum's inhabitants and the deity of Father Martin's religion and his followers.

Powers and Stats
Tier: At least 9-B

Name:
The Walrider, Alp, The Swarm, The Gospel of Sand, God, Nano-Swarm, Nano-Cloud

Origin: Outlast

Gender: None (Though appears masculine)

Age: 66 years old (Chronologically)

Classification: Nano-Swarm (The Walrider is composed of nanites)

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Immortality (Type 6), Intangibility, Possession, Can grant its host Regenerationn (Low-High), Flight, Technomorphism, (Via Body Possessing), Partial Invisibility, Prolonged exposure to the Walrider induces insanity, Shapeshifting, Size Manipulation

Speed: Subsonic (Killed a group of armed soldiers in matter of seconds. Kept up with a speeding Jeep)

Lifting Strength: At least SuperHuman (Can lift the likes of Walker with ease)

Striking Strength: At least Class KJ (Physically stronger than Walker)

Durability: Unknow (Survived the simultaneous detonation of twelve gasoline tanker trucks), Intangibility and Immortality make it very difficult to kill

Stamina: Limitless (Composed of nanites)

Range: Varies (A few meters for attacking, multiple meters in the sense that the Walrider itself can be spread quite widely)

Standard Equipment: Its host

Intelligence: Below Average (It may or may not be interpreted as sentient. Nonetheless, it is aware that it requires a host for survival, and thus made Miles its host after Miles killed Billy Hope, its previous host. Billy controlled the Walrider while he was the host via lucid dreaming)

Weaknesses: The Walrider needs a host for survival due to its nature (using the cells of the host to manufacture the molecules necessary for its creation), It has a history of taking the killer of its previous host as its new host

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Body Possession: The Walrider can invade the body of a target and manipulate the being it has invaded. This means that it can throw the target around like a ragdoll, slamming it into walls, or suspend the target in air (implied to be choking the target at the same time). It can also tear the target apart from the inside.
  • Parasitism: The Walrider requires a host to survive. If its current host dies it will usually seek out their former host's killer and use them as their new host.
This matchup was created to prove a point to Gameboy08. Looks like another nosy reporter has broken into the Baker household, but this one seems...different. Horror game characters possessed by scientific experiments gone horribly wrong that granted them superhuman abilities. Miles has the Walrider, Jack is allowed his Transformed State. In character, no prior knowledge or prep time, speed equalized. Who wins?

Jack - 1

Miles - 4

Inconclusive - 1

I dont think Jack doesnt have what it takes to kill the Walrider and in a normal fight the Walrider would win due to Jack taking forever to actually transform but since it looks like the rules allow the fight to go on until he transforms ill go with inconclusive.

My votes goes to Jack Baker because he has better durability than Miles and Walrider and two ways that Jack can win is either kill Miles and let Walrider die or let Jack be i the Walriders host and once you are the Walriders host you can take control of it meaning that makes Jack the winner and he can use the Walrider as it's new weapon or slave.

WeeklyBattles said:
What do you mean by that do you agree with my opinion that two ways Jack can win is either just kill Miles and let Walrider die off or let him be it's new host and Jack has the control over Walrider as his new weapon and making him the winner against Miles

? Bump means im just moving the thread up in the wiki activity so people can see it. I still think Miles would win due to superior regen and durabiliy negating attacks but im not allowed to count my vote since i made the thread.

Speed isn't every thing, Jack has a higher durability and attack(small builiding)

As soon as miles attacks a Victory winning counter attack by jack will decide the battle

Miles not only has much better Regenerationn but he also has durability-bypassing attacks with the Walrider

True, But Miles lack fighting skills and Jack who has super strength and probably more experience to hand to hand combat

and lastly Miles is from a game where you run away from most things so i wouldn't think fighting is in his nature

The version of Miles that runs away instead of actally fighting is not being used here

Tbqh Jack's only real advantage in this fight is his slightly better stamina and his higher AP in his regenerated form. Miles trumps Jack in base Durability (He's Wall level+ whereas Jack is only Wall level), has better regen (Able to regen from a cloud of nanites whereas Jack can only regen from getting the top half of his body blown up), better speed with the Walrider (Walrider is Subsonic whereas Jack is Peak Human to Superhuman depending on the form hes in), and the Walrider can ignore Jack's higher durability in his transformed state by entering his body and tearing him apart from the inside.

According to this since walrider has durability negating attack and the things that you pointed out, now makes my vote goes to miles

But it will be to late for Miles and he will be already dead and Jack can just have Walrider as his new weapon and so far in every game and comic of Outlast Walrider hasn't take down or tear apart something bigger like Jack in his Monster form but believe me this victory will go to Jack and Jack has higher Regenerationn than Miles and Jack is a small building level

How would Miles be dead if he can regenerate from a cloud? And the Walrider literally grew bigger than Mount Massive Asylum and its surrounding courtyard at the end of Whistleblower so regenerated Jack, who is the size of a small building at best, wouldnt be much of a problem.

Because his Regenerationn isn't that special because he can still die and he not much of a fighter and only runs. Jack can still regenerate from anything and no weapons can kill him only the serum and Walrider doesn't have anything to take down Jack

...HE CAN REGENERATE FROM A CLOUD OF NANITES. That is far superior to any regeneraion Jack has shown.

He can still die and he not much of a fighter and only runs.
The version of Miles that runs instead of fights isnt being used here, this is Walrider-posessed Miles.

Jack can still regenerate from anything
The most Jack has regenerated from i getting the top half of his body blown up, so no he cant just regenerate from anything unless he is shown to be able to.

No weapons can kill him only the serum
NLF, thats the equivalent of saying only holy weapons can kill Ganondorf

Walrider doesn't have anything to take down Jack
Durability-negating internal attacks say otherwise. Please explain how Jack is going to fight when something he cant see or hit is tossing him around like a rag doll and tearing him apart while the guy controlling it is a safe distance away where he cant be harmed.

It doesn't matter what you say doesn't make sense because he can see Walrider a little bit and all Jack has to do is kill Miles by ripping him apart and either let Walrider die or have it as his new weapon host. Now that's a win for Jack

He'll only see the Walrider when its literally right on top of him if he's actually paying attention and looking for it. Ripping someone who can regenerate from a cloud of nanites apart wouldnt kill them.

Yes it can your not making any sense at all because it didn't show Miles regenerate in the cloud at the end of the DLC game. Also Jack has enhanced durability and he survived worser than Miles and Walrider and for the last time no weapons can stop Jack he can still regenerate from anything except the serum. So ignore me because it's not going well at all also explain how come Billy in the comics couldn't survive the explosion huh huh meaning Miles Regenerationn isn't that well only for gunshots but not for explosions.

His Regenerationn doesnt come from the games it comes from the comic in which Billy Hope, the previous host of the Walrider, was able to regenerate from a cloud of nanites. Jack never survived a point-blank explosion powerful enough to blow apart reinforced steel doors followed by a thirty foot drop with no injuries whatsoever. The best durability feat Jack has is being rammed into a steel girder by a speeding car, and even then it took him a few seconds to get back up, Miles' basically shrugged off the feat above. The Walrider at this point has been unfazed by literally everything in the game due to the fact that its intangible. And for the last time saying that nothing can kill Jack except the Serum is a massive NLF and not a valid argument in a debate.

The Walrider is pretty powerful and he is aiding Miles,

If Jack attacks Miles; Mile would just heal from it or shrug it off like nothing.

If Miles attack Jack with the Walrider durability negating power; ?????

But Jack survived an point blank grenade explosion and why are you forcing people to vote Miles as Walrider and you know right I don't care who wins and my Vitebsk will still be Jack or maybe Miles and right now in the comics everyone is saying Miles is dead but no sign of him anywhere meaning is Miles dead or alive.

According to this since walrider has durability negating attack and the things that you pointed out, now makes my vote goes to miles

But he didn't explain how Durable Miles is with Walrider and maybe you just think about it again and say your real voting here because some he doesn't make any sense. Because Jack can still regenerate from almost anything because after Walrider tears him apart he can still regenerate. Also Jack with the Mold gives him Superhuman Strength, Durability, and Enhanced. So just think about it again

@Gameboy Jack in his human form never gets hit with a grenade, only in his regenerated form. Also, in the comics there are people who have seen him, so no, he's most certainly not dead.

Pages 13 and 14 Billy hope reforms after dispersing into a cloud of nanites. The Murkoff Corperation had to literally detonate twelve gasoline tankers at point blank range to even be a threat to Billy and the Walrider.

But how come Miles didn't use it before and appear in the comics huh huh and Jack survived explosions of grenades before. Also Billy didn't survive the explosion either. And so far Miles was never seen again and he didn't show performance like Billy did

Because Miles has never sustained that level of damage in the game, but he still shrugged off being shot dozens of times, and are you really trying to use the fact that he has yet to appear in the comic as evidence? You dont get the grenade launcher until after the chainsaw fight with Jack, so no, base Jack has never shown to be capable of surviving a grenade through sheer durability. Billy's body was dispersed to the point where he had to merge with a swarm of ants in the surounding area to survive (Shown in the latest comic when those dame ants literally attack members of the Murkoff corperation), so it took ad explosion far, far, FAR more powerful than anything Jack is capable of dishing out just to deal any lasting damage to Billy, and he still survived. Miles with the Walrider should be no different as his powers would be the exact same.

Blah blah blah you are using facts too and why don't you just get it over with. You know what why don't you make Eveline profile and tell me this can Miles beat Eveline too or not because she is most dangerous and deadlier than Jack Baker

Miles (Walrider): Can take shots to the face.

Jack (Eveline): Can take shots to the face, can survive his upper half being chopped off, and didn't die in his monster form until Ethan used the serum on him.

Why is this battle even here, anyway? The Walrider is literally INSIDE Miles, Eveline is not, she just "gifted" him, and took over him. Do Eveline vs Walrider. Eveline needed a high-tech weapon to be killed in her final form.

Miles with the Walrider has the same level of regen as Billy Hope, and Billy was able to regenerate from a cloud of nanites...

Like I said, do Eveline vs Walrider... this battle is not even that fair. Miles is basically the Walrider, and Jack is just an infected dude taken over.

Yep thanks for saying that I agree you should delete this fight because it isn't that fair at all and do Eveline vs Miles Upshur. First make the profile of her and make the debate and let the person do the Death Battle of this on Deviantart to make it fair

(Bump)

Just because there's a Death Battle made on deviantart doesn't mean it won't be fair and immune to the authors biased opinion I've seen some that show research then proceed to ignore it and go with the authors own opinion/fantasy of who would win.

The Walrider's hosts have shown more durability than anyone given Eveline's "Gift" as far as the info provided shows, and no Jack can't only be killed by the serum... as seen with Margureite when she was defeated without use of the serum or the various "Molded" being torn apart and ceasing movements after a few shots from any weapon provided in resident evil 7, same with Mia in the bad ending though this one may have been Eveline's doing.

Comparing what I've seen in Regenerationn and durability coming back from a cloud of nanites is an even greater feat than tanking being rammed into a steel girder and a car exploding or grenades and we barely even see the second one until he has already transformed due to how later you get the grenade launcher in game...

After seeing the research I'm going with Miles Upshur and Walrider on this due to feats and evidence shown compared to that of Jack Baker, others given Eveline's gift or the molded
