But Naruto has Bijuu Mode so by that logic he’s also already amped. I think he could deal with Gearshift with Shunshin given he fought people like Obito who could also speed amp confidently. That and the clones seems like it can get Naruto the one Rasenshuriken he needs to beat Deku here. I’m feeling more obligated to vote Naruto.

My brother in Christ what more do I say about Gearshift. The only argument against that ability was Shunshin which is not the same level of speed amp nor is it a constant state. I hate FRA’s in general for either side when no one at least explains what has or has not convinced them.

Gearshift is an astronomically higher amp to Deku’s speed than shunshin is to Naruto, on top of being a constant amp not just a single quick motion.

Shunshin lets you blitz people, something even in MHA is regularly seen as Deku’s Fa Jin could blitz Nagant’s fastest bullets, which were outspeeding him before she amped her shot velocity, several times over. Gearshift is a far higher amp to Deku’s speed than Fa Jin, such that people who can perceive Fa Jin cannot perceive Gearshift even when he's punching them several times with it, and he stacks both of them together, while amping even further by going up in Gears.

Buddy speed is equalised at the beginning. Naruto also has like 3 speed amps of which 2 are blitz worthy. Whether or not you think deku has the speed advantage no one here is getting blitzed
 
I know people have been arguing about things for Naruto, but who here is actually voting for him?

I've only gotten Kazuma Kuwabara.

If anyone else has voted, I suggest making it clear now.

Deku's fastest blitz is faster than Naruto's, and the rules state that the slower character cannot win via blitz amps when speed is equalized.

Naruto has two speed amps, sage mode and shunshin, and sage mode does not make him blitz people on par with his Kurama Mode. Shunshin is a single movement not a state of being, so it is not keeping up with Gearshift.

Deku has a blitz amp in Fa Jin, and Gearshift is so fast that if you can perceive Fa Jin you cannot perceive 2nd gear, which he then stacks to 3rd gear then Top Gear then adds Fa Jin to it.

Naruto has 2 speed amps, only one of which is a blit but doesn’t last longer than a single movement, while Deku has 5 speed amps, with one being a blitz, but the next one being so much faster that it cannot even be perceived, then two more amps after that, then can stack the first blitz on top of all of them again.

Naruto is not faster here.

I completely forgot to address this even though again it doesn't really matter but I still feel like you don't get what I'm saying. Fighting defensively is a benefit in the sense that Deku can indeed be better prepared to defend, at the sacrifice of letting Naruto just be in Sage Mode- it's a trade off that I feel like Deku may not want to risk if he can access how much of a threat Sage Mode is. And the whole mental processing thing isn't something you can counter by just saying "he thinks faster than normal people", it's that there's consistently going to be more and more information to process, even if you can process faster than a supercomputer there's going to be an amount of information that you just cannot process all that fast. Deku and his 7 backseat gamers have to keep track of quite literally every aspect of their vision, address what to pay attention to- thus paying less attention on other things.


Unless you're saying that Deku can process an infinite amount of information in an infinitesimal amount of time, for an infinite amount of different seperate instances (multitasking infinite things)- then Deku should just be a dang Supergenius or smth

Again this doesn't really matter but I felt like I had the need to say it cuz Dekus optimal move is just AoE and Speed Blitz anyways


Also doesn't Fai Jin have some strange mechanic going on like how does it work? I tried understanding it by reading but from what I read here it seems like a Super Saiyan amp he can just... do

I don't think this can be added if Deku just wins by speed blitz in a speed equalized match right? Honestly idk how speed equal rules work anymore when speed apparenrly just literally isn't equalized

Versus Thread Rules

"Any speed equalized match, in which a major reason a character loses is due to having a disadvantage against some speed value they usually wouldn't have a disadvantage against, may not be added to profiles.
  • As a result, winning a speed equalized match against a faster opponent due to a speed boost so large that it blitzes the opponent will not be added.
Naruto is slower than Izuku without Speed Equalization, so that's not even an issue here.

Also, Naruto has "counters" to the Speed Blitz as the other side has proclaimed. Regardless if you believe it or not, I don't see this being a stomp via superior blitzing.

It's very strange that I've not seen people bring up the main thing that Naruto does against the stronger people he fights.

His unpredictability. Naruto can easily surprise people with analytical prediction such as Sharingan users, Byakugan users, Rinnegan users and in the case of Kaguya, Rinne-Sharingan users.

Naruto has a major advantage here with his ability to make over a 1000 shadow clones with his Kurama Chakra mode on them and use the durability negating Rasenshuriken.

Naruto's unpredictability is a noted feature of his character, one he employs a lot, especially against stronger opponents, notably Neji, Kakazu, Dual Rinnegan Madara and even Kaguya and more that I can't think off the top of my head.

All Naruto needs to win this battle is a single Rasenshuriken that he's already perfected at this point where he can have multiple Shadow clones using the technique alongside him, along with the variant he used against Kaguya (as he has all 9 tailed beast chakra at this point since he gets it just before the Juubi is regenerated) also meaning that he can use the various Kekkai Genkai that the Tailed Beast bestow, such as Boil Release's massive damage amp, or Magnet Release and the Ultimate defence (not the one used by Gaara but the one used by his Adopted son in Boruto) and a lot more (he uses all the Kekkai Genkai when he uses the Rasenshuriken barrage for anyone who wants to argue he never uses any of them, he does)

Add onto the fact that Naruto's ability to repeatedly create more Shadow Clones means that Deku is going to very quickly tire out before Naruto will, Naruto's endurance will bring him further, on top of his regeneration factor from the Nine Tails.

That's just factually wrong. He got the 1-8 tailed beast chakra from them when he was FIGHTING Obito, Son Goku was the first to give him his chakra, followed by the rest as he broke the Chakra rods on their body.

Speed blitz? For a mode he can only use for a short period of time? Where he has a 1/1000+ chance of even hitting the right target? Sis it don't add up.

He only got chakra from the 2 Tails to 7 Tails from fighting Rinnegan Obito and his Six Paths Jinchuriki. The Ten Tails only sensed 7 out of 9 Tailed Beast in Naruto, but it was enough for it to be reminded of Hagoromo.

He got Chakra from the 1 Tails and 8 Tails when Obito stole pieces of them from Jubi Jin Madara and transferred them to Naruto along with the Yin Nine Tails.

It’s short but 5 minutes in a fight while he’s blitzing will be a while. Not to mention Deku’s air attacks have massive AOE that could easily wipe away a few tens of clones. It just doesn’t seem too good for Naruto trying to cope with that
 
Izuku held Gearshift on for over 20 minutes against Shigaraki. His time limit is "five minutes", but he can obviously force past that.

You can see as much on his weakness section.

"One of the problems of using Gearshift for too long is that Deku's body will not receive enough oxygen to properly function, as such, he usually tries to limit his time in this state for 5 minutes. Although, he was shown fighting Shigaraki for more than 20 minutes while relying on Gearshift to keep up."

Shigaraki's speed was on par with Gearshift now that he could use his Quirks, so Izuku needed a constant Gearshift during this time or he'd be killed.
