Izuku Midoriya (DEATH BATTLE!) VS Omni-Man (DEATH BATTLE!) (Grace)

Deku lacks AP until his 100% activated but he makes up for it with abilities and LS. He has enough power to just fling around Omni with Black Whip until he can do enough for that power boost to work. Danger Sense would also prevent him from just getting oneshotted

Is it a vote to Deku?

The thing is, Deku doesn't open with flinging his opponent around with his LS. He opens with H2H combat, which considering how base Deku is only High 8-C, would let Omni-Man one-shot him at the beginning of the fight

Danger sense would let him know he’s about to be hit, and Deku showed competent battle IQ I feel like he would either go full power or whittle away at him which Omni can’t really do anything about because he has all physicals, plus smokescreen also helps avoiding damage

Omni-Man casually scales to 186.3 to 199.6 Tons of TNT. Base Deku scales to 8.07 Tons of TNT, however with Plus Ultra he casually scales to 429 Tons of TNT, possibly 528 Tons of TNT (Assuming the effort of the higher value wasn't shared with Asta).

This means that Plus Ultra Deku is roughly 2x stronger, possibly 2.64x stronger. This isn't exactly one-shot tier, so if he attempts to use his full power he risks being left vulnerable to a counter-attack (something that will be easier than even Omni-Mans previous opponent, who could briefly stun Omni and could still fight after unleashing his strongest attack, albeit mentally exhausted) or just die on the spot upon hitting Omni-Man.

Omni-Man, despite not having the LS anywhere close to Deku, could still likely break out of the black whips like Asta could using his stronger swords (His previous swords were 9-A but couldn't break the whips, while his High 8-C sword could). His Air Manipulation could possibly be useful, but he's only shown using it buildings and not to hold his enemies down.

Smoke will go the same as VS Asta, as Omni-Man could easily find Homelander in a smoke-filled crater, and his Precog is basically worthless, since it was only used to dodge an attack in smoke and never again (also Deku's H2H combat makes this ability... ya know?)

Speaking of H2H, yeah that clashing moment from above looks cool but would be a NIGHTMARE for Deku against this opponent, who starts 24.7x stronger than him, and Deku also starts the fight by moving quickly with melee attacks and, given that speed is equalized, guess who will have the advantage in this scenario?

Tl;Dr Deku LS abilities like Air Manip were never used to restrain opponents and Black Whips are 9-A, possibly High 8-C and could be easily be broken by a 8-A Omni-Man. Omni-Man would also have an AP advantage throughout the fight and Deku's only wincon is an 8-A form that will leave him vulnerable or just outright kill him. Deku's preference to start fighting in melee range in base will also be an advantage to Omni-Man, who will have the chance to one-shot him multiple times in the fight with Deku having no chance to deal damage while also avoiding Omni-Man's attacks at the same time.

I count your opinion as a vote to Omni-Man W.

Yeah voting Omni-man, Deku's in character fighting style basically sets him up for disaster, like he'd break his arms trying to hit Omni-Man in his base too, similar to the aliens who just splatter against his body.

Counted. And grace begins.
