Izuko Gaen vs. Judge Guy

Gaen's 46,228 Joules, Judge is 15,236 Joules.

Describe Judge's amp for me if you may.

You know very well that's me, Ed-boy.

@Kirby

Judges pull out a random number. Number 1 is a normal attack. Number 2 allows him to one-shot people who no-sell a number 1. Number 3 allows him to one-shot people who no-sell a number 2, and so-on. So this is roughly 7/9 chances of a one-shot here.

Do we really equalize one-shots between verses like that?

I mean we don't. It's just that I while I don't think that a simple one-shot gap would be able to make up for the natural AP difference, I think that by number 3 and so forth it won't really be possible for Gaen to survive a strike.

Also, would Judge Guy be affected by the durability negation? He's not really supernatural. Just a guy with a hammer. If he is affected, I'd give it to Gaen, since this comes down to chance and skill, which are both in Gaen's favor.

He wouldn't be affected. For the purposes of this match Gaen is a haxless genius.

Well, 3/9 times Gaen doesn't get one-shotted, 6/9 times she does, so...

Then it's quite a bit closer. Gaen still has a massive skill advantage, and able to at least heavily wound Judge Guy with a single attack if unboosted. But then again, 3 and up and Gaen just dies. Honestly leaning towards inconclusive. I doubt she'd be able to tell how strong a 3+ attack would be at a glance and risk dying, but the skill advantage also means she could dodge and kill him in-between his attacks.

What kind of a delay is there after holding up the numbers? Would Gaen reasonably be able to see Judge holding up the number and dodge before getting attacked?

@Agnaa That kinda depends on the player's own reflexes, since that's what the entire game is about, but he should be able to attack pretty much right after obtaining a number.

I'm leaning towards Judge, honestly. If Judge hits with literally anything above a 1, he has quite a sizable advantage. Even a 2 should be able to do a good amount of damage and set up for a second attack.

Hey Agnaa weren't there some 9-As from that I could use in a battle, by the way-

Madness Combat spam intensifies

We talked about making them but I never got around to it. I'll grab a non-haxxed one for now and save it for later, thanks.

Yotsugi vs Hank seems fair.

That's a lot of 9-Bs and 9-As. A lot of potential Game & Watch matches.

As soon as those profiles are done I'm putting "Man who can dress as Hank" vs Hank

Who that?

I'll do Yotsugi vs Hank now. Seems fair, due to how nonhaxed they are.

Actually, all of the characters from Versus Umbra can dress up as hank as an easter egg, so I'll probably pick the least-haxxed one.

Seems good.

Since this match is still valid, ima necro and say Gaen via S K I L L

Monogatari has a specialist called Meme Oshino. He's an expert who stole the heart from a 6-B/5-B vampire without her noticing.

Tsubasa Hanekawa is a genius who used her intellect to turn an aberration Meme could deal with in his sleep to one who beat Meme 20 fights out of 20, without getting hit once, turning all the moves and countermeasures Meme tried back on himself.

Gaen is Meme's mentor, and is far smarter than Tsubasa Hanekawa.

To bookend this, skill gg.
