Is dazai genius or extraordinary genius?

Extraordinary genius is definitely a stretch, a big stretch. Gifted seems more fitting from what I remember of the anime.

As we know, dazai is able to predict well and according to his estimates, when in dead apple he becomes mvp just by predicting what will happen.

It kinda depends on who you ask tbh. From my experience here, the way people treats intelligence ratings can be incredibly nebulous and varying at times.
I wouldn't say Dazai is extraordinary genius though. Maybe Ranpo is. But like the others said it could be attributed to other abilities too.

We definitely know that ranpo has no ability, the proof is that dazai held ranpo's hair when he managed to close the case within 1 minute. What I see, this is his talent, I tend to see dazai has a genius intelligence

Dazai is really good at solving mysteries but he is 100% not an extraordinary genius.
Can dazai learn how to build a rocket within less than a minute? Learn any technique he sees for the first time? No? Well then he is definitely not there. You need to pack some real heat when it comes to intelligence of that level, though rinpo may indeed be of that level as he, from a simple novel, could gather hidden details and make perfectly accurate assumptions that were otherwise iimpossible to comperhand. He solved murders in seconds too. So yeah, Rinpo maybe, Dazai heck no.

I agree, I think dazai’s ingenuity is just genius. Ranpo is a little hard to think of about his intelligence, considering he can solve a problem in just a few seconds.

Last I checked didn’t Dazai do something crazy like holding a conversation with Fyodor with a code they created themself that is a mix of like a dozen diffferent languages while simultaneously playing 4-D chess with him by literally predicting and countering all kinds of plans formed by Fyodor after the Decay of Angels had warped reality to make the Armed Detective Agency the enemy of the world?

Thanks for the statement, I am still new to reading this series
I think the presentation shown is very accurate with the ingenuity of the genius. He is very cunning and good at cheating haha. This series is like D conan v2, I also don't feel dazai is just gifted because it's not possible for a gifted person to do things like he does
