Yes this is explained in NEP Spiritual Nonexistence: These are characters whose soul and/or astral body is nonexistent. They are hence immune to regular Soul Manipulation.

Got it. Seems like a pretty strong resistance, though, given that it means the character in question can't really be killed or incapped by any soulhax.

EDIT: Wait, doesn't Blazblue have characters who have soulhax immunity from existing without a soul?

Oh, I thought you meant a Character who has no soul, my bad. Then ya they don't really have resistance, but in a battle if their soul is destroyed or whatever they would still be able to fight.

So they cant be Incapped or being killed by traditional Soul Manipulation.

As long as the person gets no damage from it or aren't affected by soul fuckery, should get soul resistance, yes
