Is Base Vegito canon?

I never read DB manga completely. Certainly not Buu Saga. I heard that Base Vegito never appeared in the manga, and only in anime. Is that right?

If so, shouldn't base Vegito's pic be removed from his profile since it's a canon only profile?

i believe he was Base vegito then immediately transformed into a super saiyan

He's canon, but he is featless. He immediately went Super Saiyan in the manga as posted above.
