Summary Of The Story

The Fantasy World of Iruna

Long ago, the world of Iruna Online was created by the Twelve Gods of Iruna. Among them was the goddess Specia, who created the diverse plants and animals that filled the world. Humans were also created in the image of the gods and were granted various abilities so that they could maintain the world.

However, several gods fell in love with Specia, which led to conflict among them. Their rivalry escalated into a great war in the heavens and eventually spread to the land below, dragging humanity into the conflict. The once beautiful world was devastated, and many plants and animals created by Specia were driven to extinction.

Unable to bear the destruction caused by the war and believing herself responsible, Specia took her own life. As she died, her tears fell upon the earth and the humans. These tears contained her power to create species, and as a result humanity split into four different races: the Humes, the Diels (dog-eared people), the childlike Kyuls, and the mysterious Elves, who continued to worship the Twelve Gods.

Several thousand years later, the four races formed their own nations, but conflict between them continued. These nations include the military empire Slebinia Empire, the republican state Parul, the federation formed from the Diel thief guilds known as the Mithurna Federation, and the elven constitutional monarchy Darkan Principality.
Even to this day, these four nations have not reached lasting peace, and their conflicts continue.

Tl;dr

This whole thing started because some gods fall in love with the same person and decided to Wage war because of it and threaten the destruction of the entire world, so the goddess decided to kill herself creating all the species with her tear and start the main story of Iruna.

Villains of episode 1:

Sianas

Sianas is the main antagonist of Episode 1 in Iruna Online, portrayed as the embodiment of darkness created to balance the excess light energy in the world after its creation. Her ultimate goal is the destruction of Iruna, and she achieves this by manipulating events across the world from the shadows. Throughout the story she influences numerous individuals, leaders, and powerful beings, spreading chaos through dark crystals and corruption.

Many of the conflicts that occur during the episode—including wars, disasters, and the actions of corrupted figures—are revealed to be part of her larger plan to destabilize the world. She also attempts to manipulate the god Oritius to gain divine power that would allow her to complete the destruction of the world. Her actions serve as the central driving force behind the events of Episode 1, making her the primary threat that the Adventurer must ultimately confront and defeat.

Mezzaluna

Mezzaluna, known as the Iron Queen of the Slebinia Empire, serves as one of the major antagonistic figures during Episode 1. Unlike Sianas, Mezzaluna’s motivations originally stem from a desire to protect her people and be loved by them as their ruler. However, under the manipulation and influence of Sianas, she gradually begins taking increasingly extreme measures in pursuit of peace and unity.

Among these actions is the creation of powerful magical weapons to strengthen Slebinia’s military and the development of the Humanizer, a device designed to transform all races into a single unified race in order to eliminate conflict. While these plans are intended to bring peace, they ultimately cause more suffering and intensify the war between nations. Mezzaluna’s story highlights how Sianas’s influence corrupts individuals with good intentions, turning them into instruments of chaos within the larger scheme to destabilize the world.

Conclusion and main point of the entire story:

Sianas

Sianas is the main antagonist of Episode 1 in Iruna Online and is essentially the embodiment of darkness within the world of Iruna. Her existence is tied to the imbalance of light and dark energy that occurred after the world was created by the gods. Because too much light energy existed, Sianas appeared as the opposing force meant to balance it. Unlike most villains, she doesn’t usually act directly; instead, she works from the shadows and manipulates people and events across the world to slowly push everything toward chaos and destruction.

One of the main ways Sianas influences the world is through the use of dark crystals, which contain fragments of her power. These crystals amplify negative emotions such as hatred, anger, and despair in those who come into contact with them, allowing her to manipulate individuals and push them toward destructive actions. Through this method she indirectly fuels wars, corruption, and disasters throughout Iruna. A major example of this manipulation is Mezzaluna, the queen of the Slebinia Empire. Mezzaluna originally wanted peace and recognition from her people, but under Sianas’s influence she begins taking extreme measures such as developing powerful weapons and the Humanizer, believing that forcing unity would end conflict.

Sianas also attempts to interfere with divine powers in order to accomplish her goal of destroying the world. She manipulates and targets the god Oritius, intending to use divine power as part of her plan. Rather than simply destroying Iruna directly, her approach is to destabilize the world from within by encouraging conflict between nations, corrupting important figures, and spreading despair among its inhabitants. By the time the truth is revealed, many of the events that occurred throughout Episode 1—wars, betrayals, and disasters—are shown to be connected to her influence. Eventually the Adventurer confronts and defeats Sianas, stopping her plan and freeing Oritius from her manipulation, bringing the conflict of Episode 1 to an end.

MAIN CONCLUSION: Thema of This Episode

The overall story of Episode 1 in Iruna Online mainly shows how conflict and destruction often don’t start from one big event, but from manipulation, fear, and negative emotions slowly spreading through people. Throughout the episode, wars between nations, corrupted leaders, and disasters across the world initially appear unrelated, but they are ultimately revealed to be connected through the influence of Sianas. This highlights how easily individuals and societies can be pushed toward chaos when hatred, anger, or desperation are exploited.

One of the clearest examples of this is Mezzaluna, who originally wanted peace and the love of her people but gradually became more extreme in her actions due to manipulation and pressure. Her story shows how even good intentions can lead to harmful outcomes when someone becomes too obsessed with a goal or allows themselves to be influenced by darker forces. In this sense, Episode 1 explores the idea that evil does not always come from purely malicious intentions—sometimes it grows from desperation, misunderstanding, or manipulation.

Overall, Episode 1 presents several lessons: that balance between opposing forces is important, that negative emotions can be dangerous when exploited, and that individuals must question the forces influencing them rather than blindly following power or authority. It also shows that even when the world seems to be falling apart, individuals can still resist manipulation and fight to protect others. The Adventurer’s journey demonstrates that confronting the source of corruption and refusing to give in to hatred is what ultimately prevents the destruction of the world.

The thing is Mezzaluna is a an antagonist.

But...

Does this mean that everything she did before was also evil? Mezzaluna isn’t really a villain but more of an antagonist in the narrative. Her goals were ultimately good—she wanted to protect her people and strengthen her nation—but her actions ended up being seen as evil. However, those actions were heavily influenced by Sianas rather than coming purely from her own will. So to judge her fairly, we have to look at both sides of the situation.

If she was acting to protect her people and ensure the stability of her country, can we truly define her as evil? Or is she simply someone whose good intentions were twisted by manipulation? It raises the question of whether actions alone define morality, or if intention and circumstances should also be considered. After all, when a leader believes they are acting for the safety and survival of many, shouldn’t the well-being of the majority also carry weight in how we judge their choices? 🤔

Honestly, Mezzaluna in Iruna Online isn’t really a villain. She’s more like a tragic antagonist. Her goal was pretty simple—protect her people and keep her nation strong. That by itself isn’t evil at all. The issue is the choices she ended up making along the way, especially once Sianas started influencing things. Because of that manipulation, her actions became more extreme and destructive than what she probably intended in the beginning. So it doesn’t really make sense to say everything she did was evil. A lot of it came from pressure, fear for her people, and outside influence twisting her decisions. In the end she’s more of a gray character—a ruler trying to protect her nation, but slowly pushed into doing things that made her look like the enemy.
