By default, do we consider illusions as something intangible or physical?

Illusions are an invention of the mind; whether they feel tangible depends of the degree of the illusion.

Now a place made of illusions, not necessary a mind invention, would it be intangible or tangible? Like a pocket reality based on illusions

Illusions are intangible, but so are invisible. Illusions are nonexistent by nature, but they may 'give off' image, smell, touch, etc, depending on the control the user have over it. In this case seems like the guy was sealed in a place two dudes hold control.

The place is an illusion in the sense that isn't not the real world; maybe the container traps whoever sealed in his own mind, or maybe is an entire world, don't know. Whether the case, it's not Subjective Reality, as no boundary between real and unreal is being manipulated.
