I was a new editor and after a 2-3 week or so i had been removed why is that?

I remember that i got a message about me being involved in some thread and i got a tag named "new editor" after a while i've been removed i can't understand why or how to achieve this tag back.

It is due to that you have now been here long enough for the tag to automatically disappear.

I don't exactly see why you want the new editor tag, it's supposed to signal to people your new to the wiki, that's it's only practical function.

You can't get it back but it's not a big deal or anything. All new accounts get that title automatically and then everyone loses it after a few weeks because the system doesn't consider them "new" anymore. You'll still be able to comment on or make threads and edit profiles regardless of whether or not you have that title.

You should still be able to but some profiles are locked because they are targeted by vandalism.
