Hytale General Discussion

Went to creative mode to test all of the magic and shit, most shoot the same generic green blast but only like 3 or 4 staffs that shoot fireballs which are like 9-B, there are like 2 ice staff which actually could end up getting 9-A pretty solidly.

There's also some good magic that has LS and hax tied into it


I'll have to test bombs on block destruction when im off work much later today
 
So here’s what I have found.

You can block arrows at close range, which at the very least should yield subsonic.

The only explosive in the game that can crater the environment are Boomshrooms which, based on some rough calculations should be at the very least High 8-C

You can pick up gold blocks, which is obviously class 25.

Be careful with that, minecraft tried the same thing and it was fraud in lore and thus removed, there's some safer stuff we can use instead of relying on that.

The rest is good though, the root wand can restrain enemies so you could scale LS from that too with magic

Nah I thought it went through but there was a CRT made to remove the LS scaling for The Player in minecraft since we're told Steve gets tired from using the spear due to its weight and its entire mechanic and existence in the lore being an anti-feat for the weird scaling they use for LS rn for it
 
Yeah I found it, just looks like they forgot about the thread lowkey so I bumped it but yeah Minecraft is losing its LS based on that kind of thing since its directly contradicted by developer intent and the existence of the spear and its mechnic being based on the player getting tired due to its weight in canon.

So for now I'm against scaling to block weight for LS as we have other better avenues to use instead

Should be a solid Class K ~ M rip out of the ground still and should at least scale to the players LS via Magic at least so that's something but at least for rn when im off work I can test what the root wand can all restrain for LS stuff
 
I have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 520 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz, Ram 8,00 GB and system 64 bits and non Graphic card, this thing try to run even minecraft and dont pass over 30 fps

Good lord dude yeah you're trying to run it with 16 year old hardware😭😭

You can get a better low end pc that could run it for probably a couple hundred not even needing to gonall out with a build or even go for a mid end build

One of the things I really dislike is when my parents don’t allow me to invest in better equipment, like a new phone (my currently one is Galaxy A3) or PC (even when I’m using money that I earned myself by work during the whole year) For example, I was talking with my cousin, who built a mid-to-high-end PC, and when my mom found out, she complained that I shouldn’t buy another computer if mine is still “alive.”

Back when I was studying Civil Engineering, i would eventually have to use AutoCAD as i was avoiding any subject that needed it but i was running out of subject unrelate of it, which has pretty demanding system requirements. You can see them here. That was one of the reasons I eventually left the career path and chose something different

potentially yeah, also I've just got a clip of a good feat for the large boomshroom and did the math which ranged from these values assuming the blocks are 1m^3 each


Low End
81m^3 * 50J/cc = 4050000000.00019884 Joules or 0.96797 Tons of TNT (Building level)

Mid End
81m^3 * 132 J/cc = 10691999999.9998379 Joules or 2.5555 Tons of TNT (Large Building level)

High End
81m^3 * 205 J/cc = 16605000000.000143 Joules or 3.96869 Tons of TNT (Large Building level)

but tbh idk about the high and mid ends since those assume v-frag and pulv when you can still just pick the blocks up after and they aren't just dusted

I just tested with gold blocks and you can still pick the blocks up afterwards they aren't all completely destroyed but a few are actually so I'll have to do partial frag and v frag

(3m x 1m x 3m) * 4 = 36m^3
45 + 36 = 81m^3

However the 2 blocks where I was standing were hollow so its actually 79m^3 and out of the 79 blocks exploded only 31 were left remaining meaning the last 48 blocks were either v. fragged or pulverized

Low End
31m^3 * 50J/cc = 1550000000.00006557 Joules
48m^3 * 132 J/cc = 6335999999.9989119 Joules
Total Energy: 1550000000.00006557 + 6335999999.9989119 = 7886000000.0014877 Joules or 1.884799 Tons of TNT (Building level+)

High End
31m^3 * 50J/cc = 1550000000.00006557 Joules
48m^3 * 205 J/cc = 9840000000.0014801 Joules
Total Energy: 1550000000.00006557 + 9840000000.0014801 = 11390000000 Joules or 2.722275 Tons of TNT (Large Building level)

Just used boomshrooms underground, using no clipping and the entity grabber tool I managed to put a rabbit in a one block space and then put a shrooms beneath him.

Counting out all the blocks that were destroyed got me 178 m³, the amount of blocks that were left behind varied, but the lowest count is generally gonna be in the 60s.

Almost every way that you can handle this feat will probably yield High 8-C, although I did get some Low 7-C craziness with diamond💀.
 
Well, actually, there might be a couple other ways that might be able to bump it up to 8-B but I’ll have to do testing🤷🏻‍♂️.

If you did it via multiple shrooms you'd need to divide by the number of them used
