Well along with the dale cooper matchup it means adding 16 to hunter’s already 62 added matchups

I'd recommend Jigen in the fight line-up if I wasn't so confident that he'd skill stomp hard with his marksmanship

GOD NO, if you want a losing fight stick with Jigen, Lupin is a beast of his own with stealth good enough to make this type of joke actually believable and intelligence high enough to rival Batman. At least Jigen is in a more reasonable arsenal to be up against

Well hunter does have this thing called a radar which means no matter where lupin is hunter can know exactly where he is on the map

Lupin counters that anyway, bro is so good at stealth Goemon who is capable of fighting in complete darkness and sensing people without the need for sight/smell/sound can just disappear by just leaving his sight for a second with Goemon incapable of finding him. Trust me, Jigen is the much more fair opponent of the two, the hunter wouldn't even classify as a threat to Lupin due to his massive intelligence and skill

Not how layers work, layers work by overwhelming resistances or resistances standing strong against circumventions. Stealth manipulation from what I know can't really apply to that since it's not really something you can just overwhelm or circumvent, it just a matter of 'potency' like something akin to fire and Lupin has the full concentrated power of the sun.

Could also give him resistance to it. Skill abilities like stealth and weapon mastery can't have layers as far as I'm aware.

That's what I figured, guess it's going on the third series revision I make LOL. Trying to slow and steady it by adding ambitious changes alongside just normal stuff, but waiting for staff to notice and accept the current one is taking a hot minute lol

Lupin is ******* ridiculous with his stealth at this point what do you even need to be able to sense him

He has no real counter to sensing energy systems from what I know
He's basically as good as you can reasonably get with a human character without reaching into actual super powers, he has godly skill, intelligence, layered mind resistance, and equipment that lets him handle people above his weight class. Man gets statements like this, his only real weakness that screws him over the most can mainly be described as "Vulnerable to random BS" since it requires his opponent to surprise him with something
