Sadly, we really can't know. It is very fair to assume FTL, as any significant amount of distance covered by such a beam would be a few times faster than light.

You can make the CRT directly. There's no calc after all, and the feat is incredibly straightforward.

If so, then you just calculate speed normally since there's a distance

D = 100 m

T = 10^(-9) seconds

V = 100 / 10^(-9) = 10^11 m/s = 333.5640951982 c, which is MFTL
