How strong is a ligthing

i mostly see them varies into low 8-C to 8-B and i am confused i know that ligthing force varies but what is considered the standard?

Research produced conflicting estimates. From 500 Megajoules, 1 Gigajoules, 1.6 Gigajoules, 5 Gigajoules, 10 Gigajoules. Though most of the energy of a lightning bolt is dissipated into heating the air before it reaches the ground.

The wiki currently uses an estimate that real cloud-to-ground lightning has an energy of 1.6 Gigajoules, which is 0.38 Tons of TNT, or 8-C Building level. Think that Null did an error with unit conversion.
The energy in an electric current, whether real or fictional, can vary. So that is just for a natural lightning bolt.

Generally it is 1.6 Gigajoules as shown here. But it should be noted that just because someone got struck by lighting, it does not fully scale to durability.
