How powerful are the Backrooms (verse)?

Isn't the backroom like a 4chan creepy pasta shit? Iirc, there isn't much lore, and pretty much everything on yt is just a fanmade expansion on it.

The actual original story is just like 7 lines of text and that's it. Was there any talk about the monster in the original, to begin with?

Oh I didn't know about that wiki, though I still stand corrected that the original was just some 4chan creepypasta.

Although this site looks really interesting, and reminds me a lot of SCP. Though if we do accept it, I imagine it will have the same standards as SCP.

Anyways, time to read a few of them.

The original is a random 4chan copypasta, while everything else that came after it is just fan-made stuff.
In the original, the Backrooms is stated to be six hundred and million square miles, which is 6 times the space between Earth and the sun. It probably has light manipulation because of the fluorescent lights, and spatial manipulation because every room is always randomly segmented when you enter it.

Besides that, there's... nothing else, really. Scaling the fan-made stuff would be a complete and total mess.

I think we could still use wiki.dot version of it. Besides that, the entire backrooms verse is drastically different.

I doubt it. The Backrooms is (and I know this is a weird comparison) a lot like religious groups. They all split off because they had wildly different interpetations of it. There's some that assume there are different types of entities in it, some assume that it has levels, some assume it has an outdoors area or other liminal space-esque locations, and some think it's all of the above. The wikidot is just one of the many other communities related to the Backrooms with its own canons and concepts and what-not, and I don't see why we should consider their stuff as the true "canon" of the verse. Really, all of them should just go in FC/OC Battles.

Couldn't we treat as an extended canon?

Pretty neutral on the original having a profile. It's not because it'll be pretty barebones, but it's more-so that it's more of a location or dimension than a weapon or a sentient being (excluding the randomly segmented rooms stuff, I guess). I still don't see a good reason for why we should give profiles for a fan-made project about it.

The entire community kinda treated the wikidot version of backrooms as extended canon so. They even have a lot of unique entities and an interesting cosmology.

That doesn't answer my question whatsoever. When and where did at least 1 mil+ people agree that this wiki, of all the fan-made stuff, should be considered extended canon?

There are several interpretations of the backrooms mythos in my own opinion it should probably be treated the way slender man is on the wiki

The wiki is most likely fine to have a verse and potentially the series that has been circulating around YouTube as of recently

Last year. I don't know about the origin of it tho.

For what it's worth, I found 2 games that seem to be on the topic, but yeah, who knows if they mesh with the canon.

Ain't sure as I haven't read many, but I have read entity 206.

Basically, it can shrug off bullets, can cause mental decay in an area of 9000 m2 if there are more than ten people, and if provoked or wants to kill you, then he has passive mind fuckery that will cause many stuff to your mind and kill you. He can also apparently bent the waves or crush the earth of the places he owns, iirc. He also doesn't feel pain.

His father is also called an "Omnipotent" monarch who can bend reality with his finger tips.

Pretty nice article.

That from the fan-Wiki?

I mean there's a series made by a guy on youtube with lore and stuff that has millions to tens of millions of views.
The monsters there are around 9-C and the backrooms in that verse would be unknown in size but arguably kilometers at bare minimum

If we are talking about the fan discussed content then it is probably a 2-C structure with 9-C creatures

That fan-Wiki also seems to have an extended Canon, similar to SCP, as multiple articles connect to each other.

They have multiple levels which are infinite in scope and the final level (Level 9223372036854775807) has an infinite staircase that stretches to the end. And all this levels are encompassed by the Blue Channel which if anyone no clips through it is the equivalent of falling through existence.
