How do I prevent myself from unconsciously upgrading/downgrading my favorite verses to win/lose matches?

^^^; I'm into many verses with matches that may change according to potential upgrades. So how do I prevent some distaste into going into "winning/losing matches via CRT" territory if everyone (including me) has an unconscious bias?

That's kind of the reason why debates and CRT's are a thing. They get opinions from a wide group of people (Supporters and Opponents towards a change Ideally) so that a discussion can take place, and a change is applied through a majority vote. If you feel like you're gonna be biased, you should get opinions from multiple people in this way as well. They'll be far more likely to point out issues with a change than a biased person 👀

Thanks for the advice.
