How do I create a proper link?

@Gargoyle

I'm going to use the link above as an example. One way to link things is to simply use the outside link format, which would look something like this:

[https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/653419 Type whatever description you want here]

Which would look like this when completed:

Type whatever description you want here

Alternatively, you can use the double brackets. You would just use the last part of the thread link. So for this thread, it would look like this:

[[Thread:653419|Type whatever you want here for a description.]]

Which would look like this when completed:

Type whatever you want here for a description.

Well, either of the two things I typed out so:

[https://vsbattles.com/vsbattles/653419 Type whatever description you want here]

or

[[Thread:653419|Type whatever you want here for a description.]]

@Silent

If the image is on a separate web page like Imgur, then yes. I'm going to leave this from Robin's profile as an example

[http://imgur.com/E3ENaOq Learned to drive at five years old.]

Which looks like this when applied:

Learned to drive at five years old.

But if you're talking about posting an image, then that's a completely different set of code.

It would be closer to something like this:

[[File:Insertfilenamehere.jpg/png|alignment (almost always right)|sizepx]]

So if I were to use a picture of one of my favorite characters as an example, the proper code would be:

[[File:GeoMMSF3.png|right|400px]]

Which would look like this when applied properly:

GeoMMSF3
