Ay man, I know you think LoTM is a battleboarding verse, but in the case that you are in fact talking about it, I assure you it’s borderline the most consistent verse power-wise in this entire website. It's not like that with LoTM. 99% of the fights are around building to city block level. Even the biggest feat in the entirety of Book 1 is actually a supernova that happens at the very end. It's just that a lot of these feats are "implicitly H1A+" even if you dont realize it due to the mysticism or ontology of the verse, which sometimes acts moreso as just background exposition without being crucial to the story at all.

Though that’s also because LoTM is a Webnovel, so that level of polish isn’t expected due to the nature of how the work is published in the first place. And also introducing the various issues of the TL after that, the prose generally becomes a common issue people have. But, uh, it’s not as if you can’t get used to it anyways. Id you read through the series in bulk (the way you’re supposed to read it as a WN), you won’t really notice it after the beginning.
