That the TB’s actions, like beating up civilians, could turn public sentiment against them. Lo and behold that’s exactly what ******* happened. The entire plotpoint was that Fulwish was framing them without them knowing that plan. But our local “super literary genius” Zephkiel over here thinks the TB still somehow precogged this plan before it was revealed. Tsk tsk.

Literally making headcanons to ignore this fact, it’s crazy. Like if they were gen holding back, that’d at least be made clear somewhat, but no, the scene doesn’t flow like that at all.

Since we entered planarcadia they have been hyping the AE as “heroes” who’ll save the universe from destruction. So unless you think PR is some foreign concept that the TB didn’t learn until fighting those high schoolers and legitimately could not comprehend how brutalizing children maybe wouldn't give them any brownie points with the overall public and especially the media, which has been present since the start. Like does everything need to be spelt out? This place is astroturfed hell. Y’all don’t even argue in good faith. Everything needs to be spelt out. Like beating up literal high schoolers when you’re supposed to be a “hero” maybe wouldn’t roll over all that well with the overall public and might allow bad actors to capitalize. Like this isn’t that hard of a ******* concept. Y’all are acting like this is some radical idea.

Or just ignore the entire narrative, which I know you love to do. World where public image is highlighted at the very start might be actually important to the story.

i bolded the areas are important because you're just factually wrong here. the trailblazer and march were the ones getting brutalized 😭 thats how the narrative played out even to the point where the trailblazer had to be teleported to saftey away from the highschoolers 😭 read and understand the dialog.
