First I'm going to repost all of the info saying FTL is impossible in Homestuck, then I am going to address the points that upgraded them.
"She was forced to continue the journey home on auxiliary power. Her ship now travels near the speed of light, a pale shadow of its former velocity."
"Let's see. They should be traveling near the speed of light across a distance of one yard, giving them about three nanoseconds before they crash through the other wall."
"JADE: and once we leave the suns domain, our travel is limited by the speed of light, like everyone else!"
"ROSE: Just as you should trust me that by the time we leave, if we leave exactly within the designated window and are able to travel at nearly the speed of light, the meteor will trace a route through the Furthest Ring which will topologically resolve as a straight line."
"JOHN: are you sure you can't make the ship go faster???
JADE: were already going as fast as i can make us go
JOHN: and how fast is that again?
JADE: about the speed of light!
JOHN: well, can't you use your space powers and bump it up a notch?
JADE: no! nothing can go faster than light john"
1. The Psiionic does indeed travel FTL, Hussie knows this ("near the speed of light, a pale shadow its former velocity") but it is highly likely this is a trait specific to the Psiionic and something that is done through warping space rather than raw speed.
Evidence for this can be seen here , where it is said psychics of "his kind" were needed for interstellar travel, and then further here where it's said the Psiionic's speed was greater than anything else in the fleet.
As for why it is likely warping space rather than raw speed, see one of the above quotes. As soon as the Psiionic dies the ship instantly drops in speed, which isn't how space works, at all. Had he been travelling at FTL speed when he died they should've kept moving at FTL speed, that's just how inertia works. The fact FTL is repeatedly stated to be impossible further backs this up.
2. The Cherubs do not travel through solar systems in a short timeframe. In fact it takes them "many sweeps/years" to reach a black hole, and one roaming around its home territory of "a galaxy" takes place over the span of eons .
In addition, they do not mate inside of black holes as the thread says. We see just a few pages later they are clearly outside of it . And while, yes, they are 1 AU long this is assuming speed from size. Not only is this controversial, but this is basically the equivalent of me saying the galaxy must be MFTL+ because it is large when we have repeated statements and observations such a thing isn't possible.
3. They do not cross 1 yard in exactly 3 nanoseconds. Hussie even says it will take them "about" 3 nanoseconds. Clearly he just did not feel like writing out "At near the speed of light over a distance of one yard that should give them 3.05011009 nanoseconds." Even provided we do take this as the 1.07c feat that it is, Jade states that is her maximum speed and as such nothing should be higher than that.
4. The Red Miles are indeed MFTL+, but this is only because they are in the domain of the Green Sun there which allows people with connections to it to surpass lightspeed.
5. We have no indication of how far away these planets are, whether or not they used portals, or even the timeframes for travelling between them.
