Homelander vs Your Favourite Characters/Verses - Let's Play "Kick the Homelander"

No hax that could even it out?
The Walten Files pages are very outdated, but even with the updates none of them could hax him to death.

the only character that could technically kill him is Bon, who could transport his soul to wonderland and leave homelander there to slowly just vanish out of reality.

the only issue with that wincon is that bon has never shown to use it on someone who isn't incapacitated.

or i could go with the boring answer and say "Madness Combat" and he'd ******* explode from a less than brain dead fodder character looking at him wrong.

it's a big could, and depends on if it's the modern or the classic versions (cuz fun fact, the 2024 versions are going on their own profiles!!!!)
Equal Stats they might have a chance. But using the keys in the thread, yeah they probably not surviving in their 2017 counterparts. The only hope is if the Ignited get some insane scaling in the Remake.

oh no quite the opposite.

2016 ignited technically stomp homelander with their madness manipulation since their deadly hallucinations work when they're reduced to small pieces.

2024 ignited don't have same busted hax the original ignited do, the only two characters that do are Foxy and the cupcakes, who can regenerate from literally anything homelander could throw at them, but they don't have any offensive haxes that'd allow them to kill homelander.

Ig, but against a Bloodlusted Homelander, he will most def blitz and one-shot the 2017 Ignited.

As for the 2024 Ignited, it will probably be a tie since the Ignited can regen from ashes, and Homelander has only dealt with people with Mid Regen, and has no ability or hax that can counter it. Also Ignited Freddy has Intangibility. I really hoping they get buffed more in the remake.

He can destroy them, but he literally cant do anything about them being alive anyways and making him go insane.

but TJOC is the boring answer to this question. they defo just kinda ball on him cuz they can't die.

Gonna skip all of the ones where he gets obviously stomped by fodder (Sonic, Kirby, Pokemon) in favor of more interesting ones:

Undertale: He could wreak havok on some of the weaker monsters before getting blitzed and killed by a Boss Monster

South Park: This could go so many different ways. But even if Homelander just demolishes the town of South Park and everyone in it, he's still gonna get mauled by Manbearpig or Satan

Breaking Bad: Homelander would sweep if not for the fact that Heisenberg is Walterversal

Stranger Things: The verse has what it takes to defeat Homelander, but they need precise planning and preparation for it. Otherwise Eleven gets blitzed and they're just screwed.

I'm just thinking the fact he can just be destroyed by a Rattata because of game mechanics with endeavor
By our scaling, Rattata does not NEED Game Mechanics to beat Homelander.

Tier: At least 8-A, higher with Heat Vision and Rage Power

Tier: At most Low 7-B | 7-B

Homelander's best chance, as it often is, is in his Heat Vision & Flight.

  • Temperature Manipulation and Energy Projection (Heat Vision - He can easily slice cleanly through human's flesh and bones. Melts an SMG. Fries Madelyn Stillwell's brain. Gives Stormfront a third-degree burn. Slices a private jet in half. Heats up a rifle to 500° F, causing it to explode. Can match Butcher's heat vision, which is hot enough to burn even Soldier Boy's skin[6], who can withstand oxy-acetylene flames without any damage[14])
The link highlights this text on Wikipedia:

"an acetylene/oxygen flame burns at about 3,773 K (3,500 °C; 6,332 °F).[4]"

Homelander is assumed to match someone who upscales from no-selling that.
Rattata itself can't fly, although it can fight opponents that do fly.

As for tolerance of Heat, IDK if 1st stages have any crazy heat feats. (Probably. Melting Team Rocket's mechs had to have happened at least once, even if it was by trained Pokemon.)

The best it has, off the top of my head are from, in ascending order, Fennekin, Darumaka, Torchic, Numel & Larvesta:

Fennekin:
XEating a twig fills it with energy, and its roomy ears give vent to air hotter than 390 degrees Fahrenheit.

Darumaka:
YWhen it sleeps, it pulls its limbs into its body and its internal fire goes down to 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Torchic:
RubyTorchic sticks with its Trainer, following behind with unsteady steps. This Pokémon breathes fire of over 1,800 degrees F, including fireballs that leave the foe scorched black.

Numel:
ScarletMagma of almost 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit courses through its body. When it grows cold, the magma hardens and slows it.

Larvesta:
Ultra SunWhen battling opponents, it sprays fire from its five horns. The max temperature of the flames can reach nearly 5,500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Even without any of those, it might scale above Magby's heat feat, which is below 1st stages like Rattata, as Magby is a Baby Pokemon.

SilverIt is found in volcanic craters. Its body temp. is over 1100 degrees, so don't underestimate it.

The original temperature (In localizing from the original Japanese to English, temperatures are converted from celsius to fahrenheit, & height & weight are converted from metric to imperial, & sometimes rounded or given approximating qualifiers.) for Larvesta's feat is 3,000 Celsius. The "nearly" is likely 1 of said approximating qualifiers from the localization.

Anyway, TV Series Homelander's heat vision scales to matching someone who's heat vision could harm someone who could no-sell flames that should be 3,500 °C.

500 degrees hotter, which is only about a 6th hotter than Larvesta's feat.
Rattata could probably survive the heat vision, even independent of being higher tiered than Homelander.... But it probably wouldn't survive it sustainedly.

But with the tiers as is, it'd probably one-shot John in return.

Would be fun to see. Flying Superman rip-off terrifiedly fearing for his life, trying to evade a big, vicious purple rat while also trying to heat vision it as it dodges because it no-sold his punches.

Speed would probably need to be Equalized for it to be fair, though:

Speed: Hypersonic+[Statistics Values 2] (Saved Billy Butcher from the explosion of Madelyn's bomb vest[28]. Quickly disarms three terrorists and blitz a woman.[21] Catches up to and flies in conjunction with a Learjet 31 plane. Flew at Mach 1.5 when looking for Translucent[7]. Reached a Boeing 747 before F-16 fighter jets.[18] Stated that he broke the sound barrier when he was 8[12])

Speed: Massively Hypersonic+ (Can dodge attacks from Magnemite and other Electric Pokémon) | Massively Hypersonic+ (Faster than before, comparable to other Pokémon at this level, such as Charmeleon)

Youngster Joey's "top %" Rattata is unironically top % in The Boys.

Youngster Joey's "top %" Rattata is unironically top % in The Boys.
Funnily enough, it's not even very good (Contrary to what Joey claims about his own Rattata.) in the Pokemon universe.

NPC's Pokémon

Bulbapedia's info is shamefully incomplete (As well as that of other sites; Finding IV info for other NPCs is apparently considered by some on various sites to be not worth the effort , as they seem to not cover Gen 3 & onwards, but....
Youngster9888338.25
That's for ATK, DEF, Speed, & Special. Gen 2 IVs, AKA DVs are silly

Sadly, the most recent Youngster Joey would be from HG/SS, AKA a Gen 4 game.

It's no better in HG/SS, where instead of a wonky scale from 0 to 15 with weird rules, it's just 0 to 31 & completely random. (& weird, but with player-obtainable-Pokemon-favouring rules.)

Joey's Rattata, his Rattata specifically, that he boasts so much about, is either middle of the road, or unsurpassably bad in terms of DVs/IVs.

You could literally go & find a Rattata in the grass, & depending on if it's Gen 2 or Gen 4 Joey, have a 50% or BETTER chance of that Rattata you randomly found after a moment of searching, to be better than Joey's.
The pain of trainer-class-set IVs.

It's all game mechanics with this DVs/IVs stuff anyway, though.

Infinity Blade:
He could beat fodder like most Titans and might even beat one of the named Deathless in their first encounter with heat vision, since they don't have heat resistance, after encroaching on their land but once they spin the block on him after resurrecting like this he's gonna get cooked by whatever plan they come up with whether it be tearing him apart with a Black Hole from a Dark Ring or smiting him with lightning
