High 8-C Tournament Match 5 (Adam Taurus vs Entoma Vasilissa Zeta)

There's difference in lifting and ripping. In a pushing contest, lifting strenght can mean a lot, but when there are ropes around you with the same durability as you have, you need AP.
 
So he can clear the insects? What can he do with it? can he coat himself in flames? Cause if not don't see how he gets rid of the insects... His lifting strength will be helpful against her normal webbing but it will still slow him alongside her electricity manip and her razor webbing.
 
gonna need to elaborate what he can do with it, i don't recall him ever using it to create a wall of fire or something
 
So still blinded and has to deal with lighting which will stun him and slow him, entoma has shown a propensity to spam her eletric attacks and her webbing will slow him alongside her razor webbing.
 
also, the main thing here is Entoma using thunderbirds in combination with other talismans. Explosion talismans might also help in keeping Adam at a distance, they explicitly knock people back

also she has a talisman to create a windstorm, which will also help a bit
 
That'll burn some bugs but not all of them, and entoma can use this ability three times.... So again he's going to wind up blind against a girl who likes to use lighting attacks that will further stun him.
 
Thats really not a lot of bugs, depending on when she uses it he could potentially just wipe them out with an energy wave with his semblance
 
She can use it three times and she can stun him with electricity and they cover a wider area then his flame attack... Even assuming they can't drain his aura they'll still blind him...
 
@Pen She has to hit him with electricity does she not? And he can still block with his sword which would give him energy for his semblance

Im not talking about his flame attack im talking about his energy projection which has a much wider area than his fire
 
They are electric birds (Birds made of electricity) that can circle back around to hit him (They're also fast enough that people with the same speed as entoma struggled to dodge), his sword is made of metal and he has no feats of absorbing electricity that Ive seen so, I don't see that going well for him. (Probably better off trying to shoot the birds)

She still has her webbing, razor webbing and electric stunning attacks and she can coat him in insects when he's stunned.
 
Adam has absorbed energy though, i dont see why he wouldnt be able to absorb electricity

Can he not just cut or burn the webbing or just dodge it?

Also he has duplication to keep her off balance
 
has he absorbed magic?

are his duplications completely physical?

also, the thunderbirds discharge on impact, so the moment it hits something it gets covered in electricity
 
She has summons and full 360 view of motion and she's fought someone with duplication before (Though possibly not as potent) He can likely burn her regular webbing, razor webbing doubt it as the webbing is a stronger substance meant to shear through the opponents flesh as they struggle to escape. Honestly I see entoma using regular webbing to make him cocky then hit him with the razor webbing. (Also turned a wall of crystalline rock into chunks)...Dodging is possible but he has to dodge/destroy her fly breath, her lighting birds that can circle around to hit him in the back, and her webbing.

Maybe because he's never done to electricity and there are many examples of electricity causing muscle contractions regardless of aura. Id need a feat to buy it.
 
@Pen Due to his Aura, Razor Webbing wouldnt do much of anything

Even if it stuns him it would still be absorbed, Nora absorbing Hazel's electricity after being electrocuted by it is a prime example of this
 
It will drain his aura a bit and he'll have to tear it off him, which takes time and gives entoma a chance to spam her lighting and bugs... So he absorbs it but is still stunned/hurt by it and gets hit by a bunch more?
 
@Apeir Actually, due to how aura functions it wouldnt, she would have to completely deplete his aura in order for it to do any damage beyond being a slow burn on the full body forcefield protecting him
