First round of the High 8-C Brackets Begins!

Current Standings (A "-1" indicates the fighter was disqualified or was stomped)

The contenders for this round are Meteor Ma, submitted by Genericstickman, and Kei Kurono, submitted by Therefir/FloweryAlex.

Kei with the Gantz Suit is used. Speed is equalized, battle takes place around this giant broccoli from Mob Psycho, 30m away.

Kei is .83 Tons with 6.07 Ton weapons, Meteor Man Has a 2.68 Ton earthquake feat.

Well my only knowledge on Kei from the anime in the early 2000s sooo yeah. I know he gets WAY more skilled down the line though.
 
Kurono becomes invisible and cuts Meteor Man with his 20-meter sword.
 
Yeah, invisibility + a good AP advantage + piercing damage sounds like a brutal combo for Meteor Man
 
Doesn't seem like he can, so I don't see what stops him from flying out of range of that sword, and he still has higher range, apparently
 
But it's also not like he's gonna get cut up in one hit, yeah? If he realizes he takes a lot of damage from a single attack, he could still fly out of range.

With the AP and the nature of a blade, Meteor man will bleed out in a prolonged fight regardless.
 
Kei's ranged weapons are weird for those of you that don't know. One is a handgun that flashes and for like 5 seconds nothing happens but then whatever he points at explodes from the inside out.

A rifle that shoots down a gravitational force vertically from above and crushes then opponent.

And another handgun that shoots like a wire that wraps around the opponent and kinda....scans you away? Or whatever portion it's captured. It's more like BFR but if it only captures a part of you then it scans that part away, so like if it were you head then you'd be beheaded.

There may be more but those are the early ones.
 
The sword can easily cut through 6.07 tons characters and also becomes invisible.
 
Anyway voting Kei for higher skills, higher experience (and more diverse experience), tactical intelligence, invisibility, vehicles, diverse weaponry, and FRA.
