No it doesn't. You invented that headcanon. And yes, they shattered Yggdrasil which affected time and space which is how the Serpent ended up in the past.

I literally don't understand what any of that have to do with Jormungandr's size.

The point is Jormungandr via the writers statement isn't wrapping around the literal planet, they explain that midgard is indeed earth.but the people who are involved in norse mytholgy live in this "sectio" of earth and that midgard to them is like gaea to the greek people because it's all they know. This isn't hard to understand.

The realms are just dimensions on a single physical space which is that "section" of the earth all on top of each other.

Which he then later explained and the other writer agreed upon as a good interpretation, the same interview also says "theoretically" you can walk from alfheim to somewhere like Egypt version of it which is just a "theory" that Matt also uses as evidence.
"A good interpretatio"

They're specifically leaving the question out in the open; this happens with interviews all the time, as those two writers are not representative of the three head writers and numerous other creative contributors. (To put it simple; Word of God is made much less reliable when you have an entire pantheon).

If you're claiming that Matt can't claim something off of the interview, than neither can you. Considering that's practically the main basis of your argument, you're actively contradicting yourself to make Matt seem like he's the one making stuff up.

In reality, going off of the typical modern and mythological definition Midgard is a much more educated guess than assuming that it's oddly wrapped around a specific portion of the world.

I will close this then.
