My internet is terrible, so I can't get into youtube to get a time stamp.
I believe during Conquest when he talks with Corrin and says that he cannot stay as a human because higher beings on earth go insane, thouhgh I could be misinterpreting it, although it would be consistent with him just dying because he felt like it and being alive since the ancient wars.

I'm gonna say right now that I'm kinda iffy on accepting that as "we have a true self on a higher plane" given that killing Anankos would just be meaningless Although, the quote is from Conquest, so the whole thing about Anankos doesn't matter, probably
It might just be that I'm not good with the whole "True Self" and "Higher Plane" thing in general, I think other people should probably look at it
Gotta say I have other things for Awakening and Fates to do though, so maybe this can be brought up in another thread instead of continuing to necro this one
