Help a man get rich while soloing fiction

It's the same idea except capitalism is involved somehow idk I had this idea in the shower

The rules are as follows:
  • A user must submit a fictional verse. Joe will be placed in a safe location within the verse, and will have to buy or trade to gain more powers/equipment. They can leave a verse after soloing it (defeating all characters in the verse), taking with them only the things they acquired through trading or buying to the next verse.
    • Joe can collect or use things in the verse for trading, but not for fighting. For example, if someone is willing to trade a sacred sword that drops from a boss for a bow, he can obtain the sword and trade it, but he can't use the sword for himself.
    • Also, if Joe is placed in a game setting, the rules for leaving are more lenient, as he simply needs to complete the game as one would when playing it.
  • Joe starts with 1000$ in US Dollars. Once entering a fictional universe, this money will be converted to the in-universe currency in a 1:1 rate unless the in-universe currency is something that can be estimated in the real world, such as Yen or Euros.
  • Certainly the easiest verses to argue would be games since many have a money system, but other pieces of media that have anything whose price can be either reasonably estimated or is straight up mentioned are game too. An example that comes to mind is The Boys' Temp V, which costs 6 million dollars a shot.
  • Joe isn't limited to selling stuff to make money, he can also make money in different ways depending on the verse in question. An example is One Piece, where each pirate has a bounty attached to them. One could make the big bucks by simply getting all bounties.
  • Joe leaves a verse with money equal to whatever he gained minus whatever he spent (duh). In games that's a bit harder to determine, so he will leave with the average amount a player has after completing the game, minus whatever he spent.
Objective is to get as far as possible in terms of power and money.

Average Human Profile - Joe is a completely average human with no equipment whatsoever
