But all hope is not lost, as Hedorah lays waste to the great city of Tokyo Pokemon legend Ho-oh/Lugia races to confront the toxic tarror. Can Ho-oh/Lugia save the city? Or is Tokyo doomed to become a toxic waste land?

Round 1 Hedorah vs Ho-oh

Round 2 Hedorah vs Lugia

Speed =ized

Location: Tokyo

Hedorah(round 1)-1

Ho-oh-1

Hedorah(round 2)-1

Lugia-1
Hedorah 4
600px-250Ho-Oh
249Lugia

Hedorah both rounds. Intangibility, regen, reactive evo and poison/corrosion hax seal the deal.

...Lugia and Ho-Oh are massively hypersonic. Hedorah isn't. He can't win if he can't tag them. Plus Ho-Oh's fire attacks could eventually cause Hedorah to die of dehydration since there's nothing keeping Lugia from just holding him in place with telekinesis while Ho-Oh bombards him.

Read my post above...

Anyway yeah Hedorah wins due to speed equalization and engaging them separately.

Thats...not a reason for him to win.

He's winning because with speed equalization his hax will likely be too much for either Ho-Oh or Lugia and his poison should bypass their regen like it did against Godzilla.

Hedorah might lose if Lugia can keep him away from water or pollution with his telekinesis and just pummel him with electricity until Hedorah dehydrates from a combination of said electricity and being deprived of the resources he would need to continue functioning.

^I don't see Ho-Oh having the same luck as Lugia, though, since his abilities are more limited. He could keep a distance and spam fire attacks to defeat Hedorah but Hedorah is just as fast as Ho-Oh and unlike Lugia, Ho-Oh lacks the degree of weather manipulation needed to put Hedorah down for good.

IMO, Hedorah wins round 1, Lugia wins round 2.

Ho-oh has hax to.

Yes he does, but again, it is more limited in its scope. Ho-Oh's hax is primarily fire and wind-based, with only minor psychic abilities.

You know what, on second thought, the combination of fire and wind-based powers might actually work in Ho-Oh's favor. Ho-Oh can create fire and then fan the flames with his wind attacks, increasing their potency. If he can land enough hits on Hedorah (or simply envelop the battlefield in flames) before the latter's poison can do any real damage, then Ho-Oh could win round 1, but only if.
