Heat manipulation question

What would this ability be? Its obviously fire, ice and magic, but heating something up then instantly cooling it to a freeze, would that count as deconstruction? Of course it did fail but its because the enemy was just resistant and strong

It doesn't count as deconstruction, since the breaking down would've been a byproduct rather than the power itself. And this assumes that he would've actually broken down enough for it to count.
