He who has Pizza vs He who wants Pizza - Dante vs Apocalymon

Isn't Dante like, HILARIOUSLY high on the 2A scale? For defeating the Demi Fiend and helping in the fight with Lucifur?

Apocalymon is really high on the scale too. So much stronger than ExoGrimmon that he didn't view him as a threat at all. ExoGrimmon was far stronger than Chromon Destroy Mode, who smacked around Alphamo and ClavisAngemon like a ragdoll.

Dante also helped in the fight against the YHVH.

Also, according to his page, he could have one shotted the Demi Fiend easily.

I'll just assume they're the same.

That's weird....

Check Dante's page, it said he participated in the war against God and Links the YHVH

Then again that hasn't been updated in a while

Either way, Dante tends to use his Stinger about halfway through against opponents that can give him trouble, what does Apocalypmon have?

Because, I'm a bit lazy. Note, these a lot of these are inherited skills he has.

  • Darkness Zone: Generates a dark dimension that extends between both his hands infinitely, and erases everything in his path from existence.
  • Venom Infusion (Venom Infuse): Completely destroys configuration data by injecting them with destructive computer viruses, destroying the target's physical form, soul, and consciousness in the process. In Digimon Adventure (and while in the Real World), a single hit from this was casually turning skyscrapers into nothingness.
  • Soul Chopper: Swings at the opponent with its scythe. Those who suffer this technique have their souls completely annihilated.
  • Shi no Senkoku/Father Time: Summons a magic circle of dark power kills an opponent with a word of death.
  • Clown Trick: This attack has been used to cover several attacks:
    • He throws a giant tablecloth at the opponent. If it touches the opponent it transforms them into a key chain.
    • Conjures a ring of fire to attack opponents
    • Creates a large ball and has it come out of the ground beneath the opponent to trip them up.
    • Disguises himself (made himself look like a normal clown in Episode 40)
    • Reflects an opponent's attack back.
    • Mask's Square: Creates a field in which all communications can be read by Piedmon and allows it to teleport itself and its attacks anywhere at will. Piedmon's Reality Warping is heavily strengthened in this realm and he has complete control over the realm. Masks Square also allows him to read his opponent's mind as well as listen to every conversation. He can also control his opponent's body, preventing them from even attacking.
    • Texture Blow: Forcefully turns the opponent into a sprite while nullifying their abilities.

This thread brought a smile to my face. ovo
Glad you liked it.

Score: Dante: 1 (Garg): Not counting Galactus x Beyonders as he gives no reasons

Apocalymon: 0

So, now we have to analyze how good one's one-shot is compared to the other and which one would be the easiest to land.

well are apocalymon's one-shots via chance? if not then well...Dante's stinger is by chance

Stinger:

.....Literally just a dash, Dante draws his sword which in turn allows him to let the sword drag him to his enemy, it strikes, it kills.

Darkness Zone:

Literally spreads his arms and creates an omnidirectional dark dimension that erases all caught in it from existence.

Venom Infuse:

A simple eye beam.

Yeah, it seems like it's whoever strikes first , both Dante and Apocalymon are serious at the start as well.

Laser seems like it can be dodged, Stinger can't be dodged as Dante glides it, and darkness zone is impossible to dodge.

Yeah I'm voting inconclusive.

yeah incon they have to share pizza Dante's stinger or darkness zone while venom infuse Dante can dodge

Oh god, I can't believe I'm saying this...especially while listening to Digimon themes...

Going by profiles, if Dante participated in the fight with YHVH and could've rekt Demi-Fiend, then Dante is so much stronger (and it matters in SMT) that he one shots. Apocalymon's versatility works against him in that a wrong move gets him killed. Dante has more chances to win, so him.

I don't think the YHVH part is accurate, but he absolutely could have one shot the Demi Fiend.

He does a Stinger and purposely misses so he doesn't kill him, and laughs it off.

How so, if anything Apocalymon's Darkness Zone is more likely to be used along with Venom Infusion. And Darkness Zone is more likely to hit first.

Apocalymon will start by crying about his own misery like always does ovo. Giving time for Dante to oneshot.

If they use it at the same time maybe, but if Dante uses the Stinger first....

then change the battle name ovo

He whose other incarnation wants pizza

It's similar (but maybe not as extreme) as putting Frieza against Spike the Devilman. Sure, Spike can win. But Frieza can do so much more that he's waaaay more likely to.

idk about the YHVH part seems mat would know about that

Cal of the irony OVO

Then he wins (assuming they don't hit at the same time, and if it connects)

An inconclusive match doesn't happen because both have chances to win. An inconclusive match happens because not only can both win, but if you run the scenario 100 times, the ratio of win:loss:tie would be the same.
