You all also forget, Apocalymon has Father Time in which is basically the same as YHVH's Word of God. Apocalymon can dodge as well, teleportation works to. Also about Stinger, we are assuming Dante starts with Stinger, based on Gargoyle's words he only uses it halfway through on opponents. And plus he also has other skills. Isn't it unfair to just use this argument against the Digimon and not the other character? Especially logic of "Versatility is bad here" that has almost never been used before. And joining the War against YHVH =/=Him fighting YHVH. There is an AP gap yes, but not that large.
