I mean, Tyrian is Equal to Qrow who got easily defeated by Hazel the moment he injected Dust into his system.

The arguments regarding Hazel's victory seem to be how he "took out Qrow" who is equal or around the same skillset to Tyrian, but this accusation is baseless. Tyrian has been proven to be one of the fastest characters in the show, and I'd definitely wager he's likely the strongest non-magic user there is.

Qrow lost to Hazel by charging him blindly and swinging his sword, he then got laid out. That's common sense. Also, Volume 5 fights defy every single ounce of logic. As shown with Oscar, Hazel can be wittled down just from dodging his blows, something Tyrian would definitely be capable of. Hazel's aura has also been pierced through by Weiss, so Tyrian would most certainly be able to get good licks in with his tail. Hazel's pain ignorance works against him here, he potentially won't even realize he's been poisoned.

Tyrian poisons him, gets licks in when he can. It's a war of attrition, and Hazel's eventually going to succumb to the poison and die. Tyrian 7/10.

Tyrian is far too agile for Hazel to get a hold of, and has vertical mobility and range Hazel sorely lacks (yeah, Hazel has ranged dust attacks - they're also extremely coreographed and child's play to dodge for Tyrian).

Tyrian has shown that he can play the long haul, and while he isn't significantly harming Hazel at the start of the fight, all he needs to do is be oppertunistic and shank Hazel with poison he doesn't resist and be on his merry way.

Voting Tyrian FRA, although it's certainly close.

Hazel cant get poisoned unless his aura gets broken, because aura protects him from being penetrated. Plus that and hella high Regenerationn, unless Tyrian is packing a giant punch, he's not gonna be able to take down that aura with chip shots

Yeah, well now if we mean V7 then its looking like Tyrian can bypass aura kind of? We'll have to have an explanation but we all know Hazel got far more than Goat girl. If he can really get his toxins through then it will stop Hazel's regen at least.
