Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

Even if it is, the plot point is still bad due to what we saw in Season 1. Alastor hates being owned as **** but acts as genuine friends with Rosie. Makes 0 sense.
Could be that Rosie is a genuinely chill owner, but doesn’t like that he doesn’t have his freedom. Especially since he doesn’t owe Rosie his soul. His soul is just owned until he pays of his debt, that’s probably why Rosie told him to stop his broadcast, so he’d actually have a reason to pay his debt off, could explain whether alastor was limited during the Adam fight. Hell even in the song, he doesn’t even seem pissed, he seems more annoyed that he can’t do what he wants. Also Rosie confirms alastor without the deal had a soul she’s never seen before, already implying he’s above zestial without the deal

It could also just be a tone thing. Husk brought it up specifically as a way to insult Al so he could've been less mad that he owes his soul to Rosie, which he honestly seems more annoyed about than anything, and more that Husk tried to insult him personally

well then
that's a lot of spoilered words
Nuh uh, we need more!

That still doesn't nullify the fact that Alastor hates being owned as ****, so him not hating Rosie and being genuinely friendly with her is just contradictory. Ngl I doubt that Alastor being owned by Rosie was even even a thing by Season 1, they just made it to have the most anti-cliche reveal possible. Now I’m thinking about it Alastor being owned in general probably wasn't even a thing during Pilot.

DM me on that please cuz I never saw that.

Oh definitely was added later on, but I’m interested to see where this goes. It could be explained in the full release

Consider me impressed, a CRT of yours that isn't spouting actual utter nonsense. Mostly.
