Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

I still have no idea why we're still having the debate over whether Heaven and Hell are merely planets when nothing is ever said to that effect and the only argument is "uhhh, they look like Planets sooooooo" and the argument just ends there with no further thought.

I just realised that Vox getting stronger the higher his ratings are was foreshadowed in his very first scene in season 1.

Giving Alastor power didn't subtract any from Rosie, I think it's more that she uplifted him. Probably the same for other Overlords seeing as Alastor doesn't seem to have lost any power in empowering Husk.

Also, is Niffty getting Magic seeing as she's probably a former Overlord like Husk?

He became strongest because his popularity and approval reached 100% from even royalty, who opposed him, admitting that.

That’s Empowerment in terms of PnA and Varies rating in terms of stats.

I'd like to add that Vox had been pirating Heaven's broadcasts for some time thanks to Baxter, so it makes sense that he'd know Heaven's population.

The best thing is to assume a distance similar to Mars and Earth as a low ball since they're both planets (Or look like it)
Unless we assume the ball Heaven has inside it's a Sun, in which case we would have to assume the distance between Proxima Centauri and the Sun.
 
Whats the current scaling chain for hazbin specifically in hell rn?

Lucifer > Rosie > FP Alastor > charlie and emily > Vox > Overlords?
 
Idk why Rosie is > Alastor, you dont have to be stronger than someone to grant them power since support abilities exist. For all we know she could just have real strong empowerment abilities lol

Weakened Alastor is more powerful than both Emily and base Charlie, transformed Charlie is superior to FP Alastor and likely Rosie (Although we don't know enough about her to make her a profile imo). Zestial is superior to Vox; you could add 100% Vox to that as well
Lucifer > Transformed Charlie > FP Alastor > 100% Vox > Weakened Alastor > Base Charlie and Emily > Zestial > Vox > Overlords

I think 100% vox is relative to weakened alastor.


Would transformed charlie be a part of the power of friendship ending defense or nah? I'm just trying to figure out who scales where. Vox overpowered Emily iirc right?

Elevate him how though? Alastor has power and it's clear it has to come from somewhere, so it has to come from Rosie herself otherwise she wouldn't be able to make the deal in the first place.


If it was the case that someone can just import energy from nothingness in Hazbin, then wouldn't everyone be making deals to be the strongest? Like, I think Vox would be very interested in giving out power to the people he has Soul contract on.

It's not a Rosie's ability thing, in Hazbin Hotel deals have the power to change reality and that was shown in how Alastor was capable of forcing Charlie to approve Vox

I don't see why base Emily would be so weak?

It's clear she's a pacifist character who isn't going to throw around her power. We already know an Archmangel is superior to Alastor, so why would a Seraphim, the highest rank (Archangel is the 2nd lowest) be inferior?

We see her only get grabbed by Vox but she never actually does anything to fight him. She even when she's freed so it's clear she's just not gonna fight back even when being messed with.

Yeah Vox overpowered Emily but at that point he was already becoming way more powerful, he started growing in power since episode 5 so he was likely the strongest overlord without counting Alastor when he overpowered Emily. Transformed Charlie is her version with pitchfork and horns which was capable of seriously hurting Adam, something which Alastor never did (Although she looks weaker than she is because Alastor fights better than her)

She's portrayed as an equal to Emily, was more worried about the explosion than Alastor or Rosie and explicitly said it would kill them all, other than that she's pretty featless so there's no reason to assume she's superior to Alastor or something like that.

Emily is not a fully mature Seraphim yet, Sera was capable of helping Pentious' invention broadcast to hell by just touching it, she also made the shield which took Lucifer's power to destroy, things which Emily never accomplished, her creation abilities are poor and she got overpowered by Vox. It's clear that she isn't comparable to Sera.
Again, there's really no point in assuming these characters are far stronger than all the overlords when they never display said levels of power.

She didn't get overpowered by Vox. It's clear Emily wasn't resisting since she's not a fighter in the fact place.

And we have no feats from Emily at all besides her status as a Seraphim, the Highest and powerful rank of Angel.

Rosie when she mentions Adam doesn't talk about him being particularly powerful as an Angelic being, she notes his rank when talking about his power.

So yeah, it's clear that your rank does denote power.
