I wanted Nemesis to get some matches so here we go.

Both are 9-A and Guts has the dragonslayer and arm cannon. Both start at opposite ends of Central Park in NYC with no immediate line of sight.

Speed Equalized

Nemesis:

Guts: 7

Incon:

In the game Nemesis holds a zombie and infects it in a few seconds. Guts won’t just stand there though

Guts has a huge stamina advantage. Dragonslayer both attacks the soul and negs regen. Knowing Guts though, he'll go above and beyond to go in for a surefire hit at the cost of putting himself in peril which may be messy for him.

How far away are these two from one another?

Sounds about right. I think Guts wins, all things considered.

Based on his intelligence section Nemesis definitely isn't mindless and can make use of tactics to get an upper hand, but the thing is, Guts can (and has) done the same thing and will do whatever it takes to win, even if it means he could potentially suffer permanent harm or even die in the process. He's basically the worst guy to face in a close combat scenario.

As has been brought up, Dragon Slayer negates regeneration, so the Low-Mid regeneration of Nemesis won't mean much if he gets cut. Meaning Guts only really needs one clean vital strike to end it.

Guts will probably pelt him with an explosive (which based on Nemesis' weakness section WILL temporarily slow him down) then decapitate him with Dragon Slayer.

I vote Guts

Guts’ cunning and tenacity play a huge factor here— and this isn’t his first time fighting a relatively hard to kill foe. With that in mind, Nemesis hasn’t dealt someone like Guts in RE— and Guts has way more experience dealing with these sorts of opponents by an overwhelming margin. He also has the melee Range advantage with the Dragonslayer, and the utility to deal with being strangled via Miniature Bombs & Arm Cannon.

Guts FRA
