The Anti-Spiral scales above Gurren Lagann. Simon had surpassed Gurren Lagann by the time GL threw Lagann, and that was the same time Simon was capable of fighting on par with The Anti-Spiral, and eventually surpassed them. Simon > The Anti-Spiral > Lagann > Gurren Lagann. Plus The Anti-Spiral has more abilties, and GL doesn't have anything against The Anti-Spiral's regeneration. This is a stomp in AS's favor
