Gruntilda vs Toujou Karuna

Hmm, this is interesting. Judging by Toujou's abilities + stats, Grunty's best bet is her time shenanigans. She can either send a foe back in time or go back in time herself, to either paradox her opponent or get 20 years of free prep. She's lead with it before too, out of her three main encounters (Nuts & Bolts doesn't count since the god tier was watching over her the whole time).
In the case that she doesn't lead with time stuff, she'll set up a forcefield to begin with, which no-sells attacks far above her own durability of 7.2 tons. Idk how power absorption will react with forcefields, because once its set up, it's there until broken, so it's not like she has to maintain it. Apart from that though, even if Grunty gets off a few homing spells, with Toujou's precognition, time stop and power absorption, I don't see Grunty getting better than a stalemate in this scenario.

Attacking Karuna in the past won't work as well. He was reincaranted with the stats and abilities on the profile.
With Karuna's Spacetime Manipulation skill a forcefield is probably meaningless, whether he just circumvents it by space magic or reverses the flow of time to make it so that it was never cast. Shouldn't stop a curse either.

Was he reincarnated more than 20 years ago? If so, that won't matter. If not, she still gets the prep time.DontTalkDT said:
If Karuna reverses time back to before Gruntilda didn't set up her forcefield, she can just set it back up. It may stop curses, given that I believe it blocks magic-based attacks, but there's no evidence for curses in particular ig.

He was reincarnated as an adult into a different universe.
I doubt Gruntilda would be able to find his prior life self in a different universe than the one they are fighting in, so I think it matters. So she can not attack him prior to his reincarnation and the moment it happens he has the stats and abilities listed.
She can not set up a barrier if she is stopped in time. And Karuna's Parallel thinking skill enables him to use multiple of his skills at the same time either way, so he can attack at the exact same time he disables her barrier.
