Great Evil beast is going to return in Batman series

I think Monitor-Mind would be beyond such duality and Yin-Yang style balance, as its the metaphorical page all comics are written on. But it's certainly possible. If a Dark Monitor-Mind that's equal to the light one exists, would that one be High 1-A as well?

I suppose so. I read the entire latest issue of the Justice League, and it seemed to imply similar concepts to those introduced by Grant Morrison.

Bleeding Cool claims that the original version of Jor-El might be involved.

Few thoughts on this:

Definitely talking about The Presence and The Great Darkness here, and also the Void. Very cool to see these concepts in a main comic.

This isn't the first time that The Darkness has returned in recent comics. In DC New 52 there's a realm called "The Shadowlands", which is where God sealed The Darkness.

However, depending on how this progresses, we might have to indeed consider Lucifer Vol.2 as being Canon to Vertigo but not Canon to DC.

If The Presence shows up.

Well, we will have to see.

They were established as equal, and then they merged together.

All that is stated is that it is not an omnipotent God. It is still called the Presence.

" He is not god " which refers to the entity not being the Presence . The Presence was never omnipotent

I simply read it as that the Presence is not an absolute God, but we may get more information later in the story.

1) Watered down version of The Presence who needs people to heal him

2) Lucifer wielding a special weapon that can cut through anything

3) Further nerfing The Presence before attacking

I mean.

Ok . According to bryan hitch and Geoff jhons DC is going to face a biggest threat than COIE Antimonitor in in Doomsday clock .

Well, in that case we will likely have to upgrade Doctor Manhattan.

Not yet though. We need proof.

So who wants to bet Superman prime becomes a factor? If superman ends up fighting Dr.Manhattan, I don't see any other option for victory if it's just one-on-one. Plus the contrasting blue and yellow color palettes could look real nice with the right artist.

Mr.Mxy mentioned that something far more dangerous than himself was coming.

I also think Manhattan killed Metron.

Well, both are variations on the same prototype.

I will read the Doctor Manhattan comics like I did with the other Watchmen prequels, and I'll probably re-read the OG Watchmen again and gather all Manhattan feats. I already did that with the Ozymandias comics, and there's a statement that Manhattan exists in all universes simultaneously and past, present and future have no meaning to him.

Here's the thread.

It's likely another High 1-B structure, then, since they literally showed the map (God, I love how Meta DC can be).

Since it's another multiverse.

Yeah dark mutilverse is separate from that diagram of the dc verse with new charcters who are also getting solo stories under the dark matter imprint. Similair to vertigo and wildstorm imprints, should be interesting

The main local Multiverse might be 52 in number but they are other endless Multiverses with infinite universes in the orrey

Grant Morrison is now referring to the post-Multiversity and post-Convergence DC DC Comics multiverse as the DC Multi-Multiverse:

…"[DC Co-Publisher Dan DiDio] just said, you've got to do something with this. You can't just say there's another Multiverse and then do nothing with it," Morrison said, then explained that he told Dan DiDio that actually, there are an endless number of Multiverses in the DCU. "It's not just another Multiverse — it's as many as we need. You know? There's, like, little champagne bubbles in a glass."

[1]Grant Morrison is calling the new DC approach to continuity the "DC Multi-Multiverse," and said the concept has opened the door for him to create "weird" and "strange" versions of DC characters in his two upcoming series, Multiversity Too and Batman: Black & White…

Dan DiDio seems to indicates that all of the new DC Comics mini-series and new ongoing series rolling out over the coming months take place on what Grant Morrison calls Earth 0 and what Dan DiDio calls Prime Earth:

[2]

…I think the one misconception that came out of Convergence that we didn't really get too deep into is this idea that we're going to have all these books set in various numbered worlds. That was never going to be the case. Really, what we wanted to use was all those various worlds, to add to our storytelling, have places to go to in different types of adventures — to visit rather than just to basically set up where every book has its own world and own direction. I don't think that would make the strongest line, diversifying that fast, because it feels like all those things are competing with each other to get attention.

[3]

What we want to do is create the sensibilities we had leading into the Crisis on Infinite Earths — the multiple worlds and opportunities that could be weaved into one big story, or tapped into to help support and move ideas forward…

[4]…when you look at books like Titans Hunt and Lois and Clark, these are building blocks that are starting to integrate aspects of the pre-Flashpoint continuity into the current continuity moving forward, that we established since the launch of the New 52…

Dan DiDio further indicates that there are two multiverses: one finite one (the 52 Earths one) and a parallel infinite one (although Grant Morrison seems to alluded to a lot more multiverses, but infinite is still infinite). At the same time, DiDio also tries to explain DC You's continuity using… circles.

[5]

…I describe it (continuity) in three concentric circles. At the center, you have the core continuity that drives the story, drives the characters, that really defines what the universe stands for — basically, the films and TV shows strive for it too, that connective world.

Then you move out from there and you have the stories that are associated with that core continuity but are able to move into directions where they stand alone, but they still feel connected to the core universe, because they share a lot of the basic conceits of the shared universe.

[6]

And then you move out to the furthest circle, and that's where you find a lot of the more fringe ideas, the more risk-taking, and different types of approaches — being able to try different things with different characters, with different artists, with different voices, different tones. And although they share the names of characters that you're familiar with, they really take on a life and a direction of their own, and we let them move in that direction so that they can breathe and take their own form.

[7] So with Multiversity, Grant announced that there was a second infinite Multiverse out there, and now we're creating brand new worlds to populate that with the same hope — that they have the same weight and gravitas that ultimately make them a part of our existing lore and continuity…
