Gotrek should have infinite range in his Avatar of Grimnir key with the Rune of Unbinding.

The Chaos Portal in Grimnir's fotress was stretching it's dimensions, them folding in upon themselves unto infinity

Once the Rune is activated it nullifies these effects, chaos has all the properties mentioned on the Aethyr Manipulation page

Pretty straight forward.
