In that case, CA destroys. Gon's mindset needs to be extremely determined or extremely angered for it to be 8-A. He needs to chant, charge it up fully and then punch CA. CA is a master of every martial art known to man and can simply dodge or incapacitate Gon before he finishes the chant. Ren doesn't kill unless it's a prolonged exposure and it seems CA will resist all the mind based abilities and take Gon out before he can do much.
