The scaling isnt the issue, it's the fact he lacks any real combat showing like shanks.

The man is equal to primebeard, take the skill and such that man has, take Haoshoku infusion being pretty damn IC to use, and suddenly, voila, you have a decent idea on where he actually stands in terms of combat.

Yes, but it's enough to make matches, we know Roger is pretty much a melee, so the question is can he keep up with Mihawk, or at least pressure him enough to win, we don't need anything else since we have the basic details on how he fights IC.
