To really see how powerful goku is, we would have to use power levels. During this arc, power levels are still relevant and aren't inconsistent.
Nappa- 4,000 Goku- over 8,000 (when powered up) Which is why he stomped nappa with no issue, easily making him small planet level+
Goku (Kaio-kenx2)- 16,002+ Goku (Kaio-kenx3)- 24,003+ Goku(Kaiokenx4)-32,004+ Vegeta (when powered up and about to destroy the earth)- 18,000
Now here is where everybody is wrong. Everybody thinks goku is planet level with Kaio-ken x4, which is wrong by a lot. Goku is near planet level with Kaio-ken x2, High Planet Level with Kaio-ken x3, and Planetary+ with Kaio-ken x4. Let me explain once agai

Base SS Goku- Small Planet Level+ (Stomped Nappa with no issue) Kaio-kenx2 Goku- Near Planet Level (still weaker than Vegeta, but 4x stronger than Nappa) Kaiokenx3 Goku- High Planet Level (surpassed Vegeta in Power) Kaio-kenx4 Goku- Planet Level+ (2x stronger than Vegeta when he was about to destroy the earth)

Two, Vegeta was stupidly tanky in this arc. He took goku's onslaught (while the latter was using Kaio-ken x3,) Spirit Bomb, and he got squashed by a great ape gohan and was still able to move. Ichigo is nowhere near as tanky as Vegeta, so goku would only need Kaio-ken x3 to take him out. Times 4 is over kill. X2 Goku is slightly weaker then Ichigo, but once he goes X3, its over. Even with the strain on his body, he'll have more than enough power to obliterate ichigo with a couple of blows. Goku is also way more durable since he took a blast from a great ape Vegeta, Who's also Higher than planetary level.
