I'd say Goku, Thanos's page list nothing that Goku hasn't dealt with and beaten before while Goku has multiple ability Thanos never encountered or countered effectively, as well as being a way better hand to hand fighter to a ridiculous degree

Goku seems to have the AP advantage due to stomping someone who stomps other people who stomps himself prior that's absolute casual that's superior to baseline Low 2-C while Thanos' Low 2-C is kind of ambiguous. And with Ultra Instinct + Speed Equal, Goku has the speed advantage. that's what it means. Thanos will have to rely on his Matter Manipulation or else he gets busted by Goku's superior AP.

Thanos fighting Thor debunks everything you just said, as Thor has everything Goku has and far more. And even base Thanos has the level of h2h skill Goku has, if not more, with thousands of years of training with supergenius intellect backing that up (and before we say that Goku has fought people with millions of years of experience before, both of the times he's done this, it was with people who spend a heck of a lot of that time sleeping).

Thanos stomps. He thinks and Goku's dead via hax. Thanos could limit himself to his base powers and only use the power boost of the Cosmic Cube and wreck.
